I believe he's talking about puzzle quest, not zoo keeper.RedLobsterpwns

Damn development kit stealing stoners can't read. Somehow I did miss that whole line about Puzzle Quest. Guess that's what happens when you try posting at 1 am.

Rayman Raving Rabbids? ROFLLMAOCOPTER!!!! Sorry, I hope that didn't offend you personally but it really sounded like a gig, joke. Alpha172

Yep...Raving Rabbids. I wanted something cheap and multi-player, and since I didn't get a Wii (and my girlfriend has wanted this game since before it was released), I gave in...

I'm currently looking forward to Bioshock and Blue Dragon. Crackdownand Lost Planet aregood possibilities, and Bullet Witch is my next purchase. (I think I'm the only person in the world who loved Ghhost In The Shell: SAC, so the gameplay for BW has caught my interest.)

what did you have beforeOwned_Noob

I had a second Gamecube and a second PS2 so I traded them and a bunch of games. I still have a DS, PSP, Gamecube, and PS2. I was torn between which next-gen system I was after, and the Gamestops had shipments of Wii's today, but they were all sold out by the time I got there, so I asked about a 360. They had a refurbished system and harddrive, and with all the hook-ups I got from my friend that works there, I ended up getting a great deal.

according to gamespot it didnt get the highest scores

Jedi_of_Hyrule

According to Gamespot, Nintendogs got a higher score than New Super Mario Bros.

It's all about opinion. I'm working on Transformers: Autobots and my girlfriend is playing Decepticons. We're both enjoying it. I'll recommend it, but don't expect a long game, and the graphics are horrible. But the gameplay far outweighs the faults.

Overrated, over-priced...not very fun either. Same as every other 3/4 isometric-view game...and I don't generally like those anyways. Looked and played too much like a lower-quality GBA game.

I don't think "amazing" is quite the word for Zoo Keeper, but it is HIGHLY addictive. Worth having in a collection, but not for more than $15.

Microsoft has bagged another victim...I held out as long as I possibly could, but after hearing about Resident Evil 5 and Silent Hill 5, I gave in and traded a bunch of games and a couple of systems and I am now a 360 owner. I did buy a pre-owned system, but so far so good.

The sad part is, my first and only game so far is Rayman Raving Rabbids. Store credit only goes so far...

I only trust GameSpot, lol.SwedFish

Not a good idea. If I had listened to GameSpot, I would never have bought Valhalla Knights. Use GameSpot and others to INFORM and EDUCATE...not make decisions for you. That's like asking the cashier at the grocery store what you should have for dinner.

Can't agree on The Ward. I'll have to see it in action before I'll consider buying it. Looks like crap so far, but I was wrong about Transformers. (Well, it still looks like crap but I love it anyways). As for someone mentioning Silent Hill 5? Looks like I now have the final nail in the coffin...I will be getting a next gen system just for that and Resident Evil 5. Now to decide WHICH system...but that's for another thread on another day...

This is exactly what the DS needs...2D games with great graphics...like Super Mario Bros. and Princess Peach. I'm tired of seeing every game come out trying to be a 3D game with graphics that look like warmed over ass. For instance, Transformers is a great game (I have both the Autobots and Decepticons versions), but it looks like crap. Mario 64 DS is the only3D game that I can say has pulled offdecent graphics. Most titles rely on GBA quality graphics. Mega Man ZX looks almost identical to Mega Man Zero, the Castlevania titles looklike Aria of Sorrow, there areplenty of 3/4 isometric view games such as Lunar Knights and Scourge: Hive that look a lot like the Spyro games, and quite frankly, Metroid Prime Hunters could have looked a lot better.

Overall, I think the DS could have some great looking titles if the developers could get away from relying on GBA game models. The Simpsons is definately a step in the right direction. If only they could steer clear of the same old jokes recycled from the show and put in new content.
