I got my original DS early on...most likely around June of 2005, so there weren't many games out at the time. I really liked the look of Mario 64 DS and saw the potential of the system and its wireless multiplayercapabilities. I've been extremely selective with the titles I purchase for the DS as some of them are thrown together in a rush, but the ones I do keep in my collection have been very enjoyable.
As for trading up to a DS Lite, I saw the demo units with New Super Mario Bros. and Metroid Prime Hunters and that's all it took. I saw the huge difference in the screen quality and had to have one. Then approximately6 months later, I had the opportunity totrade up to the black DS lite, so I did. Why? It sounds rediculous, but the L and R buttons on the white one were becoming discolored, as were the rubber pads on the bottom. Besides, I like my systems in black. Except my 360. I'm not shelling out the money for an Elite...
Dementium: The Ward. I thought for a moment "Now that I have Puzzle Quest out of the system, I can play something else for a bit..." That didn't work. I still swap out for Puzzle Quest when Dememntium gets difficult.
Resident Evil and Touch the Dead both suck. Dementium is by far the best adult themed game for the DS to date. I wouldn't say "Game Of The Year" (we all know Zelda will get that title no matter how much you like or dislike it) but it should definately get an honorable mention.
C'mon... the joke was too easy with a statement like "Trade my peach kart for a helicopter in Nintendogs"... To the uninitiated, it sounds like jibberish. Didn't mean to offend you, I was just caught up in the moment. Hope ya find your lost kart.ston3henge
Dude, I was right there with you...
One of the reasons "Touch The Dead" didn't pull my Horror-Lovin'-FPS-Playin'-In-Need-Of-Both-On-DS self in was the promo shots which had cookie-cutter zombie fields... looked BORIN'. It can't be that much memory to get, say, THREE different designs and they mix 'em up just a bit... "Demetium" is still a Must-Buy for me, even moreso now that I've read some of the early impressions on this forum, but that'll kinda bring the game down a hair IMO if they're stamped monsters... "DOOM" manages variation on a bloddy GBA, the DS should be miles ahead of that watermark, you would think.ston3henge
Touch The Dead WAS boring. I played it for a couple of minutes and it was a complete waste. Dragging the ammo across the screen to reload was more time consuming than anything. I change my underwear faster than that...with socks, shoes, and pants on...
show me the game case and you playing it and I will beleave youcrtxp
Show me that you can spell and maybe...oh wait, then I may never get to post these lovely pictures...
First we have a shot of the title screen shown on my DS with the case and stylus...
Then I went to the "load game" screen and repositioned said stylus...
And here we are in the game...
Why is it so hard for people to believe that the release date was changed? I've had this since Friday.
