I cry at funerals even when I'm not that close to the person. But not so much for old people. I'm sure I'll be a wreck when my parents pass and probably even for my grandparents but for different reasons. I sometimes cry because the person who died was important to someone close to me, so I cry on their behalf almost. Kind of weird but there it is. People react to grief in all kinds of ways. Just because you're not terribly upset by it doesn't make you a horrible person. The topic thread does make it sound like you are a psychopath though.:P

I wish. Most games here are fake and not that easy to find even then.

So I've had a craving to play Red Alert 2 recently and am not sure how to get a copy. I'm living in China right now and don't really want to have to wait 2 weeks for a copy to get shipped here but Steam, direct2download and GOG - and as far as I can tell Amazon - don't offer Red Alert 2 in their catalogues. I am looking for an online/download solution btw. Suggestions?

I remember reading an article from BBC about this a couple weeks ago. As I recall I thought that a recent breakthrough in the U.S. (although maybe it was poland...) would make the largescale manufacture of graphene a possibility. The reason it was so expensive earlier was that it was incredibly difficult to produce in large quantities, but this new method involving dry ice and burning magnesium was much more efficient. Also I was given to understand that people are most excited about graphene's possibilities as a base for a new generation of chips, since it is extremely strong, light and thin.

you were super obsessed with it, but then for some reason you just stopped playing it? I was playing Vampire Bloodlines for like a week straight and then just before the last chapter stopped and haven't even given it a second thought. Not sure why. Any one else have weird experiences like that?

I just assumed this was some sort of new sexual orientation.

Being DragonBall Z makes it much more lame.

Having in lived in China for most of my life (living in Nanjing now), I feel pretty confident when I say that most Chinese people are at least as worried about food/housing as Americans. They are worried - among other things - about rampant housing costs and the ever increasing cost of food staples. If the government was intervening in a pretty serious way in both cases the situation would be even worse. A square meter of housing around here where I live costs about the same as an average Chinese's annual salary. That, for those of you who are interested, is the equivalent to a square meter in the States costing around 40k. And we're not talking Manhattan here either. Much rather be a struggling American than a struggling Chinese. No contest.

I liked DOW2 more, but I'm a huge fan of RPG's and that part of DOW2 appealed to me. SC2 SP was fantastic, but the MP can get pretty intense although I understand why some people really like it. If your looking for a game to spend lots of time getting good at, then go with SC. Otherwise my money is on DOW2.

Depends if you are more interested in a traditional RTS or something a little different. DOW1 has base building and resource gathering etc. while DOW2 has you controlling a very limited number of units which then level up throughout the course of the campaign gaining more HP, abilities etc. I can't tell you which one you should get, but really you can't go wrong with either of them. If you do decide to get DOW1 though just get the first two expansions - Winter Assault and Death Crusade(?) - and pass one the last one. It's absolutely terrible.
