@ChaosKing0991 @Mastermatta Hahahaha, alot of people would be happier if i wasnt gamer. I apologize for my reaction being a bit over the top. However the fact that your saying that this video does not belong on this site is definitely trolling. Your just trying to get attention. This "opinion" your stating is less relevant to this site than the video itself. You comment is a piece of content maybe read by 10 other people that complains about an article that apparently has nothing to do with gaming. Did i say your comment should be deleted, NO. All im saying is your promoting ignorance, by stating a video like this should not be produced. Cam is trying to reach out to an audience that might never here of these Kinect uses. Also I would argue that this is a very relevant article. Its talking about how the gaming industry is positively impacting more than just gamers. Its something any sane gamer would want to hear. Your questioning if i'm a gamer, well i questioning if your a game developer. You should be happy to hear news that games industry's influence is expanding. Unfortunately your just trying to stifle the news. Its a good thing your just a developer, and not in marketing.
@ChaosKing0991 Stop being an Fing troll stupid whiner. Just dont watch it if you want to hear only about games. Why don't you just crawl under a rock and remain ignorant to the technological advances around you, cause obviously the only things important in your life are games.
@NikIvRu First of all there is nothing wrong with the device. It uses something called stereo vision to detect your body and gestures in 3D space. This along with feature detection requires complex algorithms that game developers just don't take the time to properly implement (they just care about the novelty of the game). Researchers who actually care about the accuracy of their experiment do a much better job. Kinect 2 is basicly the same thing as the original except with better cameras.
@noladem504 @victorcom Well the "hardware" is better. 5500MHz GDDR5 RAM on the PS4, 2133MHz DDR3 RAM on the XBone. 768 shader processors on the XBone, 1152 shader processors on the PS4. Also both of those are system critical specs that can bottleneck performance.
However while exclusives will probably be graphically superior on the ps4. multiplatform games will be similar.
Furthermore, Some people like the kinect and entertainment features of the XBone. Others couldnt give a crap. Its really up to personal preference. Personally i don't care much for graphics or entertainment features, so ill probably just get a ps4 cause its cheaper and i liked ps3 exclusives. Maybe Xbone will have some exclusives that switch me over, i dont know yet. Either way i'm not buying next gen anytime soon.
@DeGarmo2 @Goodyhawk010 @saadomar Wow just wow, Ads are the reason you would or wouldn't by a console? Honestly least of my concerns. What a petty arguement. At least argue about games or something relevant.
@Raul Quiroga Some of people dont want to spend 1000+ bucks to play games with graphical fidelity of killzone shadowfall. Yes PC is better if you pay more money, but if they wanted to make a console that was 1000-1500 bucks it would be superior to almost all PCs.
@Iddhi @kbaily again why would i need to play wherever? and no matter how you look at it. the smaller the device the less power it has. Unlike you not all of us want to sacrifice graphics, physics and AI for size.
@Iddhi @Mastermatta Still no. The larger the system the more processing power it has. Sure in a couple years mobile devices will be able to play current gen games. but in a couple years current gen wont be good enough. Its a simple matter of scaling. To get the most advanced gaming experience you will always need something like a console or pc end of story. With size your sacrificing processing power and price. Its basically a law of computing.
