Both USA and UK are incredibly paranoia and I wouldn't like to live in either. You have like police at schools in the USA... And active military propaganda and enticements to join, and you wage wars with almost everyone. And in the UK you have Sharia courts, and the people tend to not look very healthy :P
The politics in both countries don't matter because UK and USA are ironing out the differences. Both seem to be in an arms race to write the most laws per minute. Both seem to be focussed on reducing possibilities for protests and militarizing police.
The main difference for me would be the weather, and the social nets/taxation.

The UK is one country and the USA is like 50 countries that are all pretty different from one another. So it's a bit of a weird comparison and I think anyone would pick the USA out of those two if they think long enough because there is bound to be a place there that you like where you can get away from all the bad.

What?
I mean, what?
The UK is composed of four diffrent countries with glaring diffrences in some cultural aspects to a degree. Heck each of these countries even has there own native language and in the case of Northern Ireland two diffrent languages.

There arn't sharia courts in the UK either, there are courts were Muslims can get a divorce according to there customs and there judment has to be accepted as not being against British or Scottish law (Depnding on country) by an actual court of law to be passed.

Tbh I spent a year a 6 months living in the USA and I'd rather have the Uk. It's small cultural diffrences that make all the diffrence.

Well Northern Ireland didn't make it so no. I'l be doing my Uni disirtation in the Scottish highland tho so I'l find a pub and support whoevers playing England and the Republic of Ireland.

-Misanthropic-

Typical Norn Iron fan.

I won't be going but I'll enjoy the three games Ireland get to play in their group in my local. Hopefully I won't even remember the moment we exit early.

You can't just support your main sporting rivals, that would be silly. Plus I have a sever distaste for you after you started stealing the likes of Darron Gibson, James McClean and Marc Wilson from us.

If it makes you feel any better I hate the English more than you lot. If the English were playing the Taliban I would be at a loss as to who I support in that game.

It's also saved more lives by introducing anti-viral drugs, Immunisation, surgical techniques, penicillen and various forms of cancer therapies than prayer ever did.

Failure to win the Battle Of Britian meant that the British at the time largest Navy and Empire in the world were not knocked completly out of the war and were able to hold onto key Oil and Gas supplies after the Desert campaign.

Attacking Russia.

Two biggest ones.

Lisburn Distillery F.C est 1880.

On the player front either Gianfranco Zola because he was a magician when he was at Chelsea or David Healy for breaking the European Golascoaring record while playing for a lowly Northern Ireland (And because His goals against Sweeden and Spain were excellent).

I have a big soft spot for Harry Gregg aswell even tho I'm to young to have seen him play 10ish seasons at Manchester United, Hero of the Munich Air Disaster and only 6 months after it he won keeper of the tournament at the 1958 World Cup. Brilliant man, meet him afew times and he bought me a beer after chatting to him in a bar.
