That's a tough one. Bioshock Infinite has an amazing storyline and great gameplay. Lots of fun to play, even past the third playthrough.
Dark Souls on the other hand, is very challenging and unforgiving. But I have a friend who has put over 300 hours into it.
There's also price to consider. Dark Souls is probably $20 right? And Infinite $40?
Having already played through Infinite twice, and tried Dark Souls before, I would probably go with Dark Souls.
Also, who is Hulk Hank supposed to be smashing in your .gif?
So I've found a couple of tricks (Biggest help was HiAlgo Boost) that allows me to run Skyrim fairly well (40+ FPS) on my integrated graphics laptop. Now that I've got it running and stable, I've been trying to improve the image. So far I've gotten some rock retextures; nothing big enough to eat up FPS. I've also got the Imaginator, and all I've done really is crank up the saturation.
Has anyone been able to get Skyrim to look very nice without an ENB?
Specifically, I love the brightness and vivid (but not oversaturated) colors in the RealVision ENB
Are there any specific mods that you guys use, or a better Imaginator setting than just increasing saturation?
Also, in the Fallout version of Imaginator, you could set Soft Focus. This is not available in the Skyrim version. Is there another mod that alllows you to do this, or even just adds preset soft focus?
Has anyone seen a Windows theme designed to look, feel, and function like the SMI in Blacklist? I love custom OSs like this that games and movies use, and I've always wanted to find one for Windows. It doesn't even half to be SMI themed, just similar. Any leads?
So I pre-ordered Splinter Cell Blacklist months ago (like in February or something, can't remember).
I had 60 bucks, but then a friend of mine offered to let me build his old PC, which was just missing a couple parts. I ordered everything, got the parts, and the day before we were supposed to build, he tells me it was thrown out.
So now I'm 30 bucks short, and I don't know if I should trade in BioShock Infinite or not. It will forever be one of the best games ever in my opinion, but I've already played through it twice. And I have a friend who has it on PC, so I can play it as soon as I build my own (once I get a job).
What do you guys think?
I just got into Dota 2. So far, I've just been doing bot matches, and I still suck at those. Are there any tips you guys could give me, or any YouTube vidoes that help noobs? I know how the game works and how to play, I'm just not good and need help with my tactics and stratedgy.
The whole younger thing is a little bit weird. The story happens after Conviction, but it's still kind of a reboot, hence the new voice actor and motion capture.Just a few quick questions:
- Steam: does anyone know if Blacklist is a Steamworks game? As in if I buy retail do I need Steam?
- Co-op: I've played all the Splinter Cells (SP Campaigns) but never had a reliable internet connection till now for Co-op. I have a friend who is getting it too and we are planning on doing the co-op missions. Now, are these misssions an extension to the SP Campaign or just random? Should I play the SP Campaign first?
- Chat: since we are going to play together, my friend and I need something to chat with. I don't want to use Skype because it uses too much bandwidth (constant on). What's the best gaming chat program out there?
- Story: Does Blacklist happen AFTER Conviciton? I'm confused because Sam looks younger. And if so, why is he back working since he had become a fugitive in Conviction?
Thanks
