yes and no. the save data bug is fixed along with many other bugs but connection seems to be a bit of problem still. If you only want to play on your own though it is fine

Just be aware, though, that when the hard drive is put into the slim it will format it so dont expect to keep your preciousdata that was on it. You should be ok if you are a backup junkie like me, ive got years of gaming time that i would be utterly pissed if i lost it!

I could be wrong because Im not to far into the game yet but if its anything like the pyromancer...try equipping the wand/catalyst then set at a bonfire and pick attune magic and select your spell...could be wrong though

Yup, tried that too! when you have a catalyst equipped on Demon's Souls all you need to do is press Up on the D-Pad to scroll through the spells but nothing appears in the box when i press it on Dark Souls??

How the bloody, bloody, BLOODY hell do i equip a sorcery? im a level 40 warrior but have just decided i want Soul Arrow. My Intelligence is 10 and my attunement is 12. I was under the apprehension that they were the qualifying stats. so i purchased it from the guy in firelink shrine and have a wand/catalyst thing. how do i equip it/use it?

i think they are factions which you can level up in. When you reach certain levels by performing certain tasks (invading other players, helping other players or killing players on book of sinners lists etc) then you recieve unique weapons, rings, armour, sorceries, miracles etc

i bought the key but can't seem to find this door. can you possibly describe where it is/where it's near?

I haven't done it yet, since I just read up on it, but the wikia says this: "To access Griggs, turn right at the bottom of the second set of stairs (with the big fire at the bottom). Turn into the alley with the torch-wielding Undead at the end. Griggs is in the second room on the left. After you speak with him, carefully destroy the barrels (don't hit Griggs!) for a full set of Magician's clothes and a Sorcerer's Catalyst."

I'm thinking this is on the lower section of Undead Burg, in the area where you first fight those rabid dogs on the way to the Capra boss or whatever his name is. I vaguely remember a door that was locked there. I've just been through this area (I've been going through other areas first) so it's not out of my way now at least.

Edit: Also, you can't buy from him straight away, he'll move to the firelink shrine area soon after.

Yeah, he is in the basement area of Undead Burg. You get the Basement Key in the Undead Parish area. The door down to the basement is near where you first meet Solaire after coming down the spiral staircase after the area with the Taurus Demon boss
