I see no reason for VItro to lie, LRG/MARCUSFENIX are unlikely to be him, LRG had a fairly massive like of GeoW, while Vitro is more inclined towards non-XBOX consoles. I've had Vitro on MSN since he was banned, and he claims to not have been on since then, he used the same email he made his account with, so I see no reasoning behind not trusting him. Use of multiple accounts is possible to mess with everyone, but not enough evidence proves that.

If that's all Sony meant it to be, then they should've said so, but they didn't. They left it open, to be percieved in one of two ways, they way you mentioned, or the way everyone else percieved it, as a requirement.
So yeah, MS has plenty of reason to sue. If Sony didn't want it to be percieved that way, they should've said so.
Thats why its controversial, because theirs 2 parts to it, sony can fight back, but so can MS, if it was obvious one way or another, the lawsuit likely woulden't have been public.
