I purchased my 3rd ps3 this past weekend. The 1st was bought Feb 2008. I'd rather they stopped breaking.

I liked FF3 for the snes better. I thought it had a much darker story, and the characters triggered a larger sense of empathy from me.

I was unimpressed as well, especially with the announcements. I'll never buy a psp. I'll go back to WoW before playing FF XIV. Maybe Last Guardian will be nice, but I know absolutely nothing about it..same thing with the rockstar north game. GT5 doesn't excite me either.

I also dont know why they(all of them) go into how many units they moved last year.

I cannot understand why LFD is so well liked. Is it just from the ppl who play fps and ONLY fps? I tried the demo, and I didn't see much that differentiated it from any other crap shooter out there.

I have both, and all I can say is exercise prudence with a ps3. This past weekend is the 2nd time I've had to replace mine because it stopped reading discs. The 1st one lasted 17 days, the 2nd about 14 months. I've been lucky to avoid red ring of death probs with my xbox 360.

Both have great games, but currently there's little in terms of exclusives on the horizon for xbox 360 that has my interest. I'm just starting up a game library for ps3, previously it was primarily used for movies.

These days, it's rare that I do finish a game that's longer than 15hrs. Last one may have been Baldur's Gate 2.

Earliest example of a game that got the best of me- Battletoads.

wtf i can't create a topic with a title that already exists?! I'm drunk atm so please excuse th rbbish at the end.

I like platformers, but I can't recall one that's impressed since Banjo Kazooie. I dont care for level editors/creators as I feel that's a developer's job. Will I like LBP? I've read that its story mode is really short but it's an otherwise awesome game. I'm tempted to wait until LBP2 in hopes that they've created a more lengthy game to play.
