Ok, so then I restart, then change the stuff in bios so floppy is the first boot device(or do I change it before, then restart again). Then how do I start the flash process? Does it just automatically do it once I select floppy as the boot device.

FLOPPY (Floppy Disk and Disk Drive Required) Download the following executable: NF68_P25.exe Insert blank floppy disk into drive and run executable Restart machine, and set floppy as the primary boot device After flash, power off PC completely, on reboot load defaults in BIOS Those are the instructions on the site, but I just have some extra noob questions. I am assuming you put the .exe on the blank floppy drive, then run it. Also, I am not sure how I would set it for the floppy drive to be the primary boot device. I am guessing I would set the floppy drive to the primary boot device before restarting the computer? Then what does it mean by load defaults in bios after reboot? Does that mean re-set all the settings again that I did on the other bios?

I tried going to vista boards looking for help and didn't really find anything. I have vista home premium installed on my computer and my user is an administrator one. I installed the nvmonitor and ntune applications and the monitor works, it'll pull up the temps and everything. But when I try to pull up ntune it keeps saying stuff like "need administrative access" over and over again to which I keep clicking ok ok ok and it eventually pulls it up anyways. I was trying to go into properties and giving it full control but it wouldn't let me.

Is there any other way to give it more rights so it won't keep coming up with the "need admin blah blah" errors like 7 times before pulling up.

Just one last question (finally have it all set up) but I was wondering, how do I tell which version of the bios I have? I am assuming I don't have the latest up to date one and need to dl it off the site. Also, how important is it to have the latest most up to date bios for my mobo? I am not too sure, and know I can mess up my mobo by like not flashing it right and all of that. That's why I am a bit worried about updating it to the newest version (if I have to).

The HD555 ones are I guess (the gaming ones) everyone talks about. I dunno, they have a tiny bit higher specs like being a tiny bit faster and what not but I still think the hd 280 are better. I got the 280 instead and they seem to be very comfortable and not as annoying as the hd555 seems like it could be. The way the head rest thing sort of seems like it's at an angle just doesn't seem comfortable. I prefer head phones that are just straight over your head.

I tried looking through my manual and couldn't find it. Where would the onboard audio be under?

I just recently got my rig up and working, and have the x-fi xtreme gamer sound card. I was just wondering how I could make sure onboard audio is always off. Do I need to go into the bios or something? Or can I just disable it in the OS.

I got the sennheiser hd 280professional ones for my new computer. I haven't had a chance to test them, but the thing that had drawn them to me was how it will go all the way over your ears, and you can change the cord incase something happens to it, instead of buying new headphones. (no mic on it though since it's just headphones)

Bump, and sort of clarifying it. All the fans have 2 connectors one has 3 prongs coming out of it the other is for sticking prongs into it. I have one I guess "main fan" that has the connection to the mobo. I am unsure how to set up all the fans. Am I connecting every fan together and then hooking up a power cord to go just into the 1 main fan (connector to the mobo). Or am I maybe connecting them all and then still putting power into each fan? Or finally just leaving all the fans from being connected altogether and just putting power to each one. I am kind of guessing it's the first one and plugging all the fans together then powering the main one which goes to the mobo (to supply power to all the rest of them). But I am unsure and I don't want to overheat and burn out my brand new computer. I have been very careful because of the noob I am.
