That's ridiculous. I could have designed a similar controller for probably less than 1% of what they spent. Minus, the Kinect compatibility & haptic feedback of course, that would add another 1%

Your current Xbox credit will expire in either 1 year from the date of this change or June 2015. Not sure which. Originally they said 1 year but i got email saying June 2015.

@BamaGoatt @JURGMANDR LCD's have a different type of burn-in, it's not really burn-in. What happens is that if you leave the LCD pixels on the same color too long they will lose the ability to change colors.

@lostn @Meta-Gnostic So I should avoid the internet and the back of game cases in Europe when playing a game.

@Marky360 Maybe if you made the TV screen huge, upgraded it's effective resolution, and taped the entire TV to your head, while putting a black fabric around all of your peripheral vision, and sticking speakers on your ears. Then, just then, maybe somewhat close. Forgot, tv's gotta be 3d.

Oh wait, no, you'll have to go in and reprogram all the games to adjust to the huge screen 1 inch from your face, etc. Good luck with all that physical and software modding.

@Forefront-049 Most yes, but the previous Nintendo console was not sold at a loss.

@WTA2k5 Ya I don't like them talking about all these spoilers because even if you avoid them here, they're bound to show up somewhere else. Some asshole posted a spoiler for the ending on Gamestop right before I played the ending. Reminds me of some asshole who spoiled Aeris death for me right before I played that section of FF7.

I't really stupid of ND and Sony to do this. Can't help but think they figure most of their sales for LoU will happen pre November.

For once I completely agree with Nintendo. There is that uniqueness when building both the hardware and software for it, which enables creativity.

They also benefit by only putting their IP on their own consoles. When they don't sell well they still usually turn a profit, and once in a while they will have NES, Wii, DS, 3DS like success that pulls in lots of money. Much more than what being on other hardware would.
