I know right. I always had to stick my penis down my left pant leg.

Its a new improved disc type that is much higher quality then typical blu ray. It is a disc that Nintendo invented and only Wii U discs use this type.

Oh I see what you mean now. But do the discs have a protective coating on them? PS3 discs are very hard to scratch due to special protective coating for Bluray, but regular Wii/360/etc (DVD) discs scratch very easily. How easily do Wii U discs scratch?

yes wiiu uses bluray discs just like ps3

and yes you can rest the gamepad on your lap...that's how I play.

It does not use Bluray, which is why I am asking if it has a protective coating. What do you mean by "passes Bluray"?

1) Do Wii U games have protective coating? Is it the same or as good as PS3 discs?

2) Are you able to rest the Gamepad on your lap when you play or do you have to hold it up?

Once you have the game full installed, a training mode appears.

Are you sure Pikmin 3 doesn't require motion controls? I read the best controls require the wiimote or at least require moving the gamepad?

You may have misunderstood what you read. You can play Pikmin 3 without Motion controls, but if you want the "best" controls for Pikmin 3, you need to use the WiiMote and Nunchuck.

Why do they make it better?
