I'm so tired of hearing this. I'm not excited much about the Vita but by all means, it will be a better gaming handheld than the iPhone. That's my opinion as an owner of a 2 year old iTouch 3G. The 3DS and PSV have nothing to worry about so long as they keep pumping out games consumers want. We should be worried about the iPhone taking away gamers from the real handhelds, as if these consumers groan and whine enough we will lose our bigger budget games. There's a reason why you don't see original platformers like Super Mario 3D Land or epic single player experiences like Uncharted Golden Abyss on the iPhone. Because you can't make money selling that stuff for less than $5. Bigger games with higher production values need bigger budgets, and need higher price tags. I'm willing to pay that for good quality games. Good lord, imagine playing Resistance on the iPhone? Yuck. Imagine playing Super Smash Bros. The touch screen controls would break so many games that work so much better on handhelds and consoles.
