well your decision is your own, but if you loved the ps2 so much, chances are you'd love the ps3 because it will gets sequels to your favorite games.Just as DS =/= Wii the PS2 =/=PS3 way to fail your own logic.
conversly, hating the gamecube then buying the wii is pretty dumb considering likewise, the wii will be getting many sequels of gamecube games.
