Nope.

The worst shop ever is/was WiiWare.

Not only was the UI horribly BAD, but you spent points for your games which you purchased with real money. And a lot of times you would have points left over after a purchase which were non-refundable, meaning you always had money tied up in that shop you couldn't use until you purchased more points towards something else. And if you didn't, well, that was lost money you couldn't recover.

Or did we just all forget about that for the sake of trying to paint the Switch out as being bad at something?

For me, it's between BoTW and Horizon Zero Dawn.

I don't wish for any game to fail.

In fact, I wish for the games that DO fail to get better next time.

Metroid Prime Trilogy with the same HD make-over that they gave to Wind Waker and Twilight Princess. I'd accept that.

A total reboot of Other M would be better though...

Those are outstanding numbers considering that Smash launched at the very end of 2018 (Dec 7) and the Switch itself hasn't even hit it's two year mark yet.

I have the Trilogy on the Wii U already so it's pretty unlikely that I'd get it again on Switch unless there are features that set it apart from previous versions.

I love all 3 of my consoles. But I'm playing my Switch the most.

Ah, I remember RE: 2 on the N64.

This version, with the expansion pack plugged in, looked better than even the PC version (which was saying a lot back in those days). God, I used to marvel at this one so much and always referenced it as a testimony to what the N64 was actually capable of.

To this day I really feel that this is the one and only N64 game that utilized the system's abilities the best.
