@KN1FEP4RTY I suppose I could be like you or Tom and pull lines from the air. You could use some more tact.

@INF1DEL You have a link showing that they use real brands and authentic technology from the world we live in and apply them to their games. No where is there a statement that says, "this game is real."

Your troll fails along with Red... bravo

@RedLegZeff Neither is MoH, in their press conference and after in interviews, Greg made it a point that the game is not "realistic." Tom is making false statements, he doesn't even have an exact quote. Tom has never played MoH 2010 or Warfighter yet believes he can give an synopses on it that gives him perspective on what's "real?"

Please find where MoH series creators' have stated that this is a "realistic war experience."

@JamesP83 Exactly. McShea seems to just like to attack people, and to reiterate he hasn't even played either games.

@pino4545 The best part is he gave Halo:ODST a 9.0, which he sited in his previous article yesterday. He's just looking for a spotlight that won't shine for him.

McShea's article yesterday is a complete contradiction to any games with fighting of some kind in them. Below are a few excerpts; first from his article that created this debate, "When did regenerating health become realistic?."

"Developers continually talk about how much respect they have for real-life soldiers, but you'd be hard-pressed to find evidence of that claim in their games. Warfighter is just joining a growing list of games that include Battlefield, Call of Duty, Homefront, and too many more to list. Getting shot hardly matters in these games. Movement isn't hindered in the slightest even though a bullet is lodged in your leg. Aiming is just as steady even though your arm is shredded by shrapnel. The only hint that you've been wounded is a slightly obscured view, but that hardly communicates the horrible pain and life-threatening conditions."

The following are from the game, Halo:ODST and Uncharted 3. I suggest checking them out since Tom seems to think he is... well whatever it is he thinks he is. Funny enough both games received a 9.0 review score from him, something to consider with his view.

"The rules are simple: You and up to three friends shoot down wave after wave of enemy attackers until your shared pool of lives has been exhausted."

"Rather, it's the realistic portrayal of characters--their lively back-and-forth discussions and snide jokes--that give you a reason to care about the tale."

Two games with some "realness" to them but not "realistic;" even better in Uncharted you kill countless humans with no second thought other then they are the bad guys.

Greg Goodrich is an awesome guy with valid points and best of all he doesn't throw insults at you for disagreeing, or as Tom blatantly insulted Greg. I have tremendous heart for Greg for being such an amazing individual. Greg's passion for what he does and believes shines through and through, same goes for his team and to us; "Warfighter's" that love playing their games for this kind of experience.

During the interview if you watch Tom's demeanor and how he talks you can tell he is stressing himself out and becoming upset in a very disgruntling way. It's sickening to look at and I applaud Greg for withstanding such.

In closing Tom never even played MoH: 2010, so he has no experience with it; didn't play Warfighter, and from how he sounds, I don't think any played any of their other games. He has nothing but his arrogance, and close-minded beliefs. I do not pity him for who he is or what he thinks.

I remember when I once looked forward to this game called "Project Ego," then saw the vision get crushed in a completely different rpg; though very good, nothing what was promised. Then thinking the next would be something to what was first said, again wrong, and so on.

I've lost all respect for Molyneaux, I can't believe he's still in the industry after so many train-wrecks he's caused.

Rockstar seems to be following Blizzard's footsteps, both know the masses will eat up whatever they turn out, regardless of giving new info or listening to their community. Once again "gamers" feel entitled, nothing new.

@Memnock Haha, Jess is right and you can actually get in to the beta by pre-ordering Torchlight 2 on Perfect World's website.

Haha, glad I'm not the only one who thought that picture was more than just being friends. Congrats Tom, you nailed the title... I'm guessing from the image their friendship is quite strong; pun intended.
