What does a price drop and an increase to user base have anything to do with Ubi's ability to developemitsu97

Why develop for PS3 at all when it has a small installed user base? There is no financial logic in doing so. Virtually anybody who does multi-platform titles won't have the PS3 version as their lead SKU to boot. 

If Sony dropped the price tomorrow and 10 million PS3's sold over the weekend Ubi would still be considered a crappy dev because the games they have out now are of very poor quality. Ubi needs to get their own house in order before they can start throwing stones.

Nobody outside of Sony fanboys thinks Ubi is a poor developer. R6:Vegas was an amazingly good title.

BTW, is NG: Sigma the first basic upgrade port of a prior generation title? I'm NOT criticizing it --- Ninja Gaiden Sigma is beautiful and still insanely difficult --- but I really can't think of another console where a great game from the prior gen was ported over and, well, prettied up.

Conker- and that was literally a gorgious game. It looked next gen- it still holds up today. Theres plenty of others too

COMPLETELY forgot about about that. Good one. Excellent multiplayer.

I actually think that now might be the perfect time for Gaiden. The PS3, by and large, is owned by hardcore gamers and this title is a God-send for them. It will never sell multiple millions of copies, but it will likely sell to a rather large percentage of the PS3 market.

FF won't do well on a 360, simply because Square is obsessed with lengthy FMV sequences which take up a ton o' time. I personally  ain't fond of the FMV, but hey, that's life.

I'm glad. While I feel the like the only guy who actually liked R & C:Deadlocked, it was clearly the worst of the bunch and the obsession with multiplayer is a large reason why.

Some games do not need multiplayer. Would you make Mario multiplayer? R & C is as solid a platformer, IMO, as Mario ever has been.

TECHINCALLY, since you control an avatar on the screen, you're playing a character --- or a role.

So, ALL games are role-playing games, right?

In six months, Sony only managed to gain a tiny fraction of the marketshare, in spite of not having a console 6 months ago.
