same goes for pc game. good luck playing a pirated version of tf2 online or in unreal3/cod4 etc there will basicly no servers that work with pirated version so you'll spend more time looking for a game than playing

By two Israeli organizations, yes.

All platforms have Piracy except PS3 at this point due to no Bluray burner. Simply cannot burn to a Bluray disc for the PS3 to read.

It's amazing though, PC games still post over a million in sales for alot/most of the games out on PC (CoD4, Crysis, Spore, Battlefield, etc.) and yet people target PC consistently as if it affects them somehow. You like the PC game? Buy it and play it. Nothing wrong with supporting the developer. Now it's on the flipside of things with the consoles getting pirated (which isn't anything new, all have been pirated for the most part and PS3 will eventually as well) and people claim "Smear campaigns". Face it, every platform has/will have piracy at some point.

Absolutely. Yet, people fail to realize most PC games are played online, and cannot be played online without CD keys, since that authentication is server side. So really, the only people downloading these games are people who wouldn't buy it anyways. Aside from Spore, I can't think of one single PC game that doesn't have a almost nessesary online component.

This is of course barring "cracked" servers, but those are just ghuetto.
