That is why this feature caught my attention from Sony, last game product of theirs I had was a PS2. So any games since then would be new for me. I will just keep my 360 even if MS adds this, no need to buy any games twice IMHO. I am willing to switch TV inputs, with a remote control even ;P
Maybe, but they never did release the full details of the plan. I have no doubt it would have included some kind of restrictions just based off the Angry Joe interview with Major Nelson and other tidbits of info. It was the only really positive feature anyone liked but wanted to know more about, yet they never wanted to give details about it for some reason. In my gut I think once people really had a look at that plan, it would not have seemed quite as good. That along with the other backlash would have been the final nail for them. All speculation, but I really would have liked to see the full plan and how it worked.
@racerxgundam Oh come on the CEO of Activision only made $65 million last year, how else could he get that fourth vacation home? LOL yeah used games are just killing them.
@malokevi Stop being a cynical D*ckh*l* - sound familiar? JK couldn't help myself since what you told me and now they have changed. I wonder if that family share plan wasn't all it was cracked up to be after all? If it was like they implied it to be, that alone would have sold systems.
@AyatollaofRnR I know the article is about Gamestop but many people like to use Ebay, Amazon, etc that are not bad deals. Same with lending games to people, with the old plan you could not loan a game to someone because then you could not get it back when they where done playing it, not to mention game rentals. Way more to all this then just used games at Gamestop.
