@Javier @MinerAvatar @XisurusX Dude you need to just read what you just posted but here is the important part

"inside your home: Your friends and family, your guests and acquaintances get unlimited access to all of your games. Anyone can play your games on your console"

Notice how it is a completely new bullet point for the family share plan?

@grognard @SpicaAntares @MinerAvatar That is how the plan works today also but only in one country, not the entire world. The plan allows a secondary user to use their account tied to the home console with many limits on how it is used. Read the family plan FAQ and you can see how gimped a secondary account is. They have always said "like it works today."

@Javier From you link

"Give your family access to your entire games library anytime, anywhere: Xbox One will enable new forms of access for families. Up to ten members of your family can log in and play from your shared games library on any Xbox One. Just like today, a family member can play your copy of Forza Motorsport at a friend’s house. Only now, they will see not just Forza, but all of your shared games. You can always play your games, and any one of your family members can be playing from your shared library at a given time."

Where does it say unlimited access? If you watched the Angry Joe interview with Major Nelson, the link @XisurusX posted sounds way more like how it was talked about in that video then anything else I have seen so far.

I have to wonder if part of the entire flip flop was this family share plan. They where always very tight lipped about the full details of the plan. The only official statements made sure to say family plan and like it works today all the time. The family plan today requires one primary account with the other accounts as secondary accounts that have limits to use the feature at all. With all the bad PR they received over other things, this was the only feature that people didn't hate about the machine and said oh that is cool. No one knows how it really worked as far as what restrictions it would have. What if it really was like the plan today and wasn't a simple matter of just being in a group of ten people all with gold accounts on their own X1's?

I am willing to bet that two primary accounts would not have been able to share game libraries, but only with secondary members getting access to one primary account holder. Otherwise that would have meant one game for 10 people and if it really worked that easy they would not of had to do a 180 at all, just release the full details of how the plan worked. Sure some people would still not like the online requirements but for full access to 10 friends sharing games, how could that not be a selling point to many others? There is a reason they didn't release the full details and I bet it is because it had so many hoops to jump through that it wasn't all that great to begin with.

I am happy that MS did the 180 but I bet it had to do with once people found out how the plan really worked and the restrictions, they feared losing even people only interested in this one feature. So for those of you mad about losing it, don't be, it would not have worked the way you think it did anyway or they would not of done the 180.

@TimberWolf_CLT @obsequies @malokevi

Facts? That crap is some forum post from some random user that posted it that claims "This is strait from I guy I talked to." Not a real news company or real MS PR rep. If you have seen then now famous Angry Joe video and his commentary video you know all that information is not true statements anyway. malokeyi why don't you post the link where you found it? I came across it by accident in another forum but didn't book mark it since it was just some random guy claiming to know it. MS never released the full facts about the program and if it was even close to what that guy posted don't you think they would have jumped at the chance to do so? Unless they ever come out and release how the plan really worked, and they won't, it is all just speculation and can't ever be proven as a good or bad feature.

Are you seriously to lazy to put a disc in a tray? No one knows how the family plan fully functioned, they never posted every detail about how the plan worked as far as any restrictions it would have. You know it had to have some, since if used sales are a problem, then buying one game for 10 people isn't much better for the publishers now is it really? So now with no DRM it allows game rentals, unlimited sharing with the disc, and if I lend someone a game, I can get it back, unlike before this change. Before you respond and call me fanboy, better look at my games, I am a 360 fan. I think your being the one that is selfish only caring about how this only now effects you.

@sahandx360 Matter of opinion, I'm a long time 360 user but I also got sick of Halo and Gears a long time ago. Titanfall is on PC so they got nothing I need to play (maybe DR3). The PS4 however had a few that I do want to play, plus I will be able to stream old PS3 games to the PS4 and play all the ones I missed like Last of Us, God of War, and Uncharted games.
