@cachinscythe Oee other point, with your example statements. You do not have the right to harm some one UNLESS they are trying to harm you, That is how those statements are meant to work together.

@cachinscythe Why are you trying to defend Bioware and this drivel? Fact, in interviews they made knowingly false claims. Fact, you have to play MP to get the "best end", they said it would not be needed. Fact, they claim there are 16 very different endings, watch the videos side by side and there are only about 10 seconds of "different" cut scenes, in some case no different cut scenes at all, and some just with different colors. While you may have the opinion that 10 seconds and different colors are enough, I do not, nor does the US BBB. Fact they said "no A, B, or C endings" Fact, there are only three possible choices to make in the end.

The ending to ME3 is the issue, not Capcom or day one DLC. That is a separate and very debatable issue that has nothing to do with this issue of false, or at best, misleading advertising. So your saying gamers sticking up for themselves is slander now? Sure a few gamers take it to far sometimes, but that is true for both the pros and the cons on any issue. So just wondering to you, it is OK when developers outright lie to your face? Bioware did in fact (not an opinion) do just that.

You have no facts on your slander argument, just opinions, even on what a "hard core" gamer even is. My opinion is, it is not the "hard core" gamer ruining the industry, but rather the gamers like you. People like you defend the developers and publishers, no matter what they do or how they do it, just because they made some game you really liked once. When someone lies to you to get your money that is in fact, a crime.

@xsonicchaos Well you should have kept her alive in ME1 then! I know, If you didn't play ME1 then you can't save her, unless you get the interactive story for ME2 where you can pick the major choices from ME1 that is! ;) So in ME3 the real queen is the one trapped not the husk and if you free her, she doesn't turn on you. She even helps you build the Crucible. My Renegade Shepard killed the queen in ME1 and killed the husk in ME3, so no problems for that character to deal with the Rachni at least.

@JimmeyBurrows Kind of @everyday182 point isn't it? Once you do see it first hand, you never want to play the games again. It really does suck all the fun out of the entire series! I am glad ME3 has MP it is all I play from ME3 when they get new MP content, however it does get boring quickly since it is only one mode (horde). Wait till it drops to $20 and then it is worth it. The first two games are cheap and do have good fun parts to them, too bad I will never replay them since I know they mean zero in the end. Funny how 10 minutes can ruin an entire franchise.

@xsonicchaos Dude if you chose a paragon path in ME1 the queen is alive and not a fake in ME3. The real queen helps you willingly. The only good choice that backfires is (SPOILERS) what you do in ME2 with the data recovered from the loyalty mission for Mordin. If you destroy it Eve will die in ME3. That is the only paragon choice that backfires. Your still a selfish renegade if you pick destroy. Paragons save lives, not take them. Yep I saved the queen in ME1, like a true Paragon would do.

@XCyberForceX "It just proves there are way too many people out their that don't appreciate the level of intricate variation of interactions weaved into the writing. I've been a fan of scifi writing for years and this was well done, explained many questions, and closed out the series well."

Are you kidding me! Things blowing up different colors is intricate variations? Stealing Dues Ex, Battlestar Galactia, and Escape From LA's endings is good writing to you? If the writing was good people would not be trying to figure out if your indoctrinated since the choices didn't fit with the entire series of games up to that point. If it answered questions like what happens next because of your actions, sure that would be good, but it didn't do that at all. The fact people want it to be a dream is even more proof of bad writing.

No false advertising you say, did you have to play MP to get the "best" ending. We all know you did, if you got the "best" ending that is. So you really do not think Bioware lied at all about this game, facts prove you wrong, there are printed quotes and videos that you can view to see how they lied. A MMO you say. Forget Bioware pay me monthly to play my versions of ME1 to ME3, I'll stay in the room and grief you the whole time just so you get that MMO feeling if you want.

@xsonicchaos Well we would all know the correct answer if not for the horrible writing at the end of the game wouldn't we? So unless we where indoctrinated, something Bioware says no to so far, I stand by the control is the only true paragon choice.

@xsonicchaos The fact you feel you need to explain it proves you don't get the joke! Just Kidding.

+++Spoilers

Think about it, you kill all the Geth, EDI, Reapers, and Tech with destroy. They all live only with control (except Shepard). So I think control is what my Paragon Shepard had to chose as a selfless act. My Renegade chose Destroy as was fitting for that character being a selfish person willing to kill to get what they wanted. Destroy is on the right side of the Citadel but doesn't make it RIGHT. The third option is Synthesis and that kills everyone including Shepard. So what if my Shepard is dead, everyone else is alive and that is what mattered most to my paragon Shepard. Unselfish acts are what heroes do, not kill innocent lives (the Geth and EDI) to keep themselves alive! I bet you chose to keep yourself alive in Dragon Age Origins by knocking up Morgan too didn't you!

@xsonicchaos Monster, how could you pick destroy, just to live! How selfish of you.

I chose to control, I role as a reaper now. I will live forever, your still going to die flesh bag. I'm Commander Shepard and will return in 50,000 years to check up on you flesh bags and AI's. Better be getting along or else! Forget the Normandy as your ship, ride in style in The Shepard. Hey if you don't like my choice I'll just indoctrinate your fleshly form and make you like it. : )

@famekiller I do agree with you on that about politicians! Sure it is just a game but in another post you say to just return it get your money back and move on. Well first this is a game site not a major news outlet for real world issue. Second, you can not return an open Video Game to any retailer. Third, Bioware did in fact make false claims about this game in interviews to get people to buy it. Forth, I will not allow anyone to lie to my face then pull out the "its art" card like the gaming media has done to try to defend this. Fifth, I do not think anyone entitled that complains about a real flaw in a product that was misrepresented as to what that product is. Lastly if you or anyone else has no problems at all with ME3 and how it was sold, please send me your money and If you want I will draw on a piece of paper and call it art just for you. Sorry, no happy endings will be given :)
