id say either nintendo or blizzard, blizzard never had a game that haven grown into a huge sucess, and of course it made one of my favorite old school games, Lost Vikings

Crysis supports the 360 controller , it's even in the manual. Just goes to show how people want he 360 controller over K + M.

no it just shows you dont know much about pc's, pc's can use any controllers, 360,PS3 and Wii, not including pc gamepads and last gen controlers.

also since most games that come out for pc are more suited for KB/m (and steering wheels in some cases) people dont prefer the 360 controller, M$ is just tryng to puch their acessories by making them 100% compatible with games for windows titles.

Stop making a fool of yourself by saying I play Halo. I never said anything about Halo, as a matter of fact, I'd rank Halo in with the reasons that gaming as an art is dieing.

Games I brought up in the OP along with games like Ultima VI, A Bards Tale, and more recent great games that noone pays any mind to like Namco's Breakdown have nothing to do with how gamesare themed, or how much fun you think Mario is.

Its about the overall quality of the product as a stand alone piece of artfull entertainment, they same way you would see a good movie, or a great album.

Its like saying you cant compare Batman Begins to Citizen Cain. Or compare The Spice Girls to Pink Floyd

halo is away more of a pop culture then mario ever was, why use mario? just to bash nintendo? iam a old school gamer and ive played lots of pc gamers from floppy and the 1st wolfenstein to Crysis, and i can assue you Mario is a old school game,

its an old franchise, the best of its own genre, and its one of the games that brought the spotlight into gaming on the 80's.

Roleplayng games =\quality, MMORPGS even ultima =\=Quality, thats an opinion, not everyone loves them, i love the first but iam growing tired to those MMO's.

so again why bash nintendo? mario is a game that trys to be diferent, that dosent focus on graphics, but in art style and gameplay, i dont love the game myself but its doing more to the gaming comunity(from your point of view) then most games that came out this year.

LOTS of people have played Bauldur's Gate and all of them loved it, those games just dont get the media attention, it dosent mean they are hits or sell well, they just dont appeal to everyone and to the people that those games do appeal TV comercials and random ads wouldnt help selling the game, those gamers know what games are coming out and what games they want, just because you dont see massive hyping about them dosent mean they arent loved, all the games you mentioned have HUGE comunitys that could pretty much be compared to a spice girls fanclub because of the way they clinch to their games like its the best thing ever so again...

Cows: Heavenly Sword, Lair, Ratchet

Well thats not the best example really but it is general understanding that pc gamers tend to stay within a small region of genresywhile consoles tend to be more scatterbrained. Nothing is really wrong with that though

you left out hellgate london,spore,the witcher and PES208 for the pc, also a few other games on both pc and consoles
