Depends on your style. My PC is decent enough to run games smoothly yet I prefer consoles. No reason in asking anyone because each person has their own preference. I suggest you game on a gaming-pc to test it out (maybe a friends). If it suits you more than consoles, go for it - if not choose the console.
When I was playing BF3 on PS3, almost no one used the mic which surprised me a bit. Mature players though. People played to win yet have fun. Now that the PS4 will include a mic, more people will probably speak in BF4 but don't expect the same annoying kids though from COD.
That does suck but in all honestly, it is the online which majority if not all people look forward to. 2-4 hours of sp but easily 70+ hours for multiplayer.
What brand is your current TV? If it's a low budget one then the RCA should be a nice upgrade but if it's a nice Samsung or Panasonic then you might end up with a slightly more stretched image that is of worse quality.
It's a Dynex. Lol. I like name-brands but sometimes can't afford them.

Reason I don't want too big of a size is that my bedroom isn't that big. I think I can go 42' max. Yeah black friday sounds good actually, kind of forgotten about that.
The system is already priced reasonably low that a price drop will probably not be over 50$ Is saving $50 really worth 2 years? A significant price drop might occur towards the end of the PS4, but by then a new console will be released.
