I wanted to purchase a new tv for the PS4 (as well as for cable tv) since what I have now is a 32 inch 720p. I found this tv (http://www.walmart.com/ip/RCA-LED39B45RQ-39-1080p-60Hz-Class-LED-3.4-ultra-slim-HDTV/24857318) from walmart and it's only $300. It has 6.5ms which is the lowest I found for that price range.

Will it be decent for PS4 gaming?

@KHAndAnime: oh come on it isn't thaaat bad. I went through the 400$ tvs but none were significantly better in specs. Some even seemed worse.

@KHAndAnime: I have the money for a $400 but I doubt it will be worth it going from the tv I linked to a $400. Whereas the difference from the one I linked to my current tv will probably be have a noticeable difference.

Just wanted opinions on whether it will be decent. Oh, and I cannot purchase a tv for 400$+ so this is the best tv I found for $300 price range.

whats this got to do with system wars?

This was the closest thing to the topic. No point in posting it in PS4 forum because then I won't get Xbox gamers perspective. Plus it is a "war" between 720 and 1080 lol. My apologies though if there is another forum this would fit in - I am fairly new here.

@I_can_haz: Oh cool, so you have first-hand experience with that. This might be difficult to answer but what differences did you experience?

My bluray movies were a lot clearer and my games as well. I even sometimes play my PC games on the new TV and they are a lot sharper than they used to be when I had just a 720p TV. The colors are better too but I think that's due to the overall improvement of getting a new TV. Just get it, you won't be disappointed, I know I wasn't.

Thanks for the input everyone. I decided to go for a 1080 possibly 42 in tv. Prices are so low I can get one brand new for less than $300. Might as well for a brand new gaming system :D
