Sounds like they are just being lazy at optimizing their game but will see.
This game is going to be released some time next year, but the X99 platform will be release before the end of this year, along with DDR4 and nvidia's GTX 880/70 are schedueled to be released this November...
Let's see how future-proofed this game really is...
