It's about who has the better 1st party.
That means, even if you don't respect Sony's Gran Turismo, you recognize it's impact, and it's QUALITY as a series. Even if you don't like Sony's God of War, or Shadow of Colossus, you still respect them.
Same for Halo, etc...but in the end, WHO HAS THE BETTER 1str party.

Your bashing my opinion for hyping sequels after you mention how much impact Sony's franchises have made? So you just completely contradicted yourself there...
If I can't hype Microsoft's successful franchises, why can you use Sony's successful franchises to disprove my post? Thats ridiculous.
And "not proven"? Is that what you said before Gears of War launched?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Forza own Gran Turismo last time around? And doesn't Halo completely own every other console FPS?
Then we throw in some other solid titles such as PGR, Banjo, etc. and there is a good reason to have faith in Microsoft's first party titles.
have all teh faith you want but you can't say they're great games before they come out
