Well this is just a flat out lie. So Xbox One will cost 250$ or 200$? Yeah right, it will cost 400$ minimum. I think GameStop is just considering the Playstation 3 entry price point
Worst business announcement decision I've ever heard from a game company. Doesn't Sony want people to buy GT6 on the PS3 to actually make some money? Now there will be people holding out for the PS4 version
@demonkingx5 Yes cause graphics make the game so much better. It could run like garbage on the PS4, we don't even know. There might only be a handful of games that can lay claim to be one of the greatest games of all time this generation despite all the improved graphics.
I agree with this guy that $300 is the sweet spot to get the general public on board. However, there's no way it will launch at $300. $400 is the high end aspect of the console that will still actually sell.
This is good news for us hardcore gamers that will buy at launch but still way too expensive for the general consumer out there. The general consumer will wait till around a 300$ to 350$ price point. Another slower than expected start for Sony I see coming
He's right in that the general public won't care unless amazing games are announced and the price point is at $400. Playstation 4 or the next Xbox launching without a must purchase game or low price point will straight up bomb initially. Sure gamers that visit this site will be all excited for the new systems but the general public won't be
@JJames3dCG @pathosfire Then why was this never done with Bioshock on PS3 or Oblivion on PS3. They would have delayed the 360 and PC versions so they could release on PS3. This is just ubisoft making a really stupid business decision that will cause the Wii U version to straight up tank
What really sucks about this is that the next Red Dead probably won't come out till sometime in 2016 because of this. I doubt the next Red Dead comes out spring 2015 if this comes out late 2013. I know they haven't announced the next Red Dead officially but we all know they are working on it. Just like Bethesda has been working on Fallout 4 for years
@kb8618 @frogiggy323 Why would you buy a next gen console to play GTA5? If there's no massive game out initially for next gen systems why even both spending 400-500$?
