Dude, get a dirty mag or somethin'.....Dogswithguns

oh I am no kid dude, I am married. It just feels like it should happen watching Drake talk to her. It always happen in movies of that sort. The way the plot is feels like it should and almost everybody agrees that there is that tension between Drake and Laina in the game.

[QUOTE="C-Himura"]Maybe not, since the reviewer might find the sex scene to hard:Pdewmandew7

Not to mention all of the variety it would add. I mean, what if she wants to be on top? What if she likes "experimenting"? The reviewer wouldn't like that at all. :P

 , you guys crack me up.

, Yeah. the story is so epic. it feels like watching a good movie. Laina is quite a hottie dude, it just feels like it couldhappen any moment in the game that Drake would put Lainadown on the ground and go about doing his business, lol.

I'd say both are great. I have not beat any of them yet, but Uncharted is more fun to play/watch. the story is awesome man, and the game play is perfect. The physics in the game is stunning.

I am playing uncharted right now, and the game is awesome in evey category. I am a little over half way and I am amazed. this game justify having a PS3 no doubt. The physics in the game are incredible with so many little things that happen which make the game amazing. I wasn't sure about it when I bought the game couple of days ago, but i went ahead and opened it. It's a great game man with the best graphics I have ever seen.

i have a 60 gb and i just bought a hdtv and hdmi cable but when i go to display settings it says its pushing out 480i ?

how do i change that ?

rojinegro25

go to display settings and choose the right resolutions for your tv. Usually the PS3 has a built in functionality to detect the right resolutions though.

Now that I have your attention, please, allow me to let you in on the secret (since I know system wars is a bit...behind the times on news).

Intel Macs. They're the crushing blow, the finishing move, the combo breaker, the FATALITY. Not only is it easier than ever to port Windows games to Mac due to the Intel chip, with the advent of VMWare, Cider, and BootCamp it is now possible to run Windows games natively. Macs are now, truly, the home computer for everyone.

But what does this mean for you, the PC gamer? It means a lot of things. No longer must you choose between gaming and multimedia, between gaming and efficiency, between gaming and reliability. The new Macintosh will give you all these things and more. Heck, you don't even have to have a boring gray case anymore, or spend 80 bucks on some LED-lit monstrosity - Macs look good straight out of the box. And did I mention they run Windows games now?

If you've been looking at Macs, but have been turned off by their lack of support for "hardcore gamers" such as yourselves, well, it might be time to start seriously thinking about ditching your old dinosaur for something a bit...cleaner. A bit more...functional.

Feel free to try and come up with an argument. There is none, I checked. Oh yeah, and Call of Duty 4 looks **** FANTASTIC on my new MacBook Pro.KittyKatB

as much as fanboys of the MAC try to scream MAC MAC MAC...etc, it's simply not up to standards as far as gaming goes. First, Apple does not let you upgrade your machine, so you get what you get. You can't build your own with the best graphic card...etc, instead you have to buy what they give you, and you cannot upgrade. You just throw your entire computer out and get a new one. I am not sure if my info is up to date, but that's what I know about MAC's. That alone puts them at a big disadvantage. I know they're running Intel now which allows for many things, but they need to get rid of there theme of not being able to purchase a MAC operating system...etc. they need to open up more.

hold ona second, you're into RPG games and you're thinking about it? you need a PS3 no doubt. the playstation always has more and better RPG's than the xbox. just think of FF GOW series. Also the PS3 already has a great RPG game called folklore. not to mention MGS4 only on PS3 coming in Q2 next year!!

Charles

Since the cat is out of the ol' bag, I'll just go ahead and say that Gamespot mixed their platforms up. Dunno about contrast (PS3 games always seem more washed out to me), but from everything I know, the 360 runs better.

Also, I'm really not surprised about the wide range of reviews. I've always been convinced it would be a love it or hate it game.

So far, the loves are winning, so I'm happy!

Not to get in to any specifics, but there was a hell of a lot more effort put in to the PS3 version.

I am personally convinced (ie my opinion and not that of ubisoft) that "enough resources" approaches impossibility.

Our game drove our engine programmers batty, as the AI is most of the workload, and linear it is not. These new systems love programs that are just straight forward number crunching with as little branching as possible. That is the complete opposite of what is needed to make a game like ours.

Well, considering the ps3 guys have been working on it since the moment ps3 dev kits were available, you can't really chalk it up to 'lack of experience', as they had as much as anyone else at the time. Sony was also impressed at one point by how well we got it running early in development.

I don't know if it's a capable system or not. What I'm saying is that, in my opinion, to get the most out of it probably takes an unrealistic amount of resources and time.

jrpgliker

oh please, some guy on a forum is claiming that he is a dev then he says that he does not know if the PS3 is a capable system or not?? then he mentions GS specifically?? year right. this guy is fake without a doubt. Plus let's not go far, just go to gamerankings.com, you will see that the PS3 version of AC still has a higher score. Here is also another website that score the AC version of the PS3 higher http://www.n4g.com/NewsCom-87001.aspx#Comments

Bottomline is that the PS3 is a very capable system. anybody who owns Uncharted knows that the PS3 is very capable. awesome graphics with 60fps isn't something that beyond the reach of the PS3. I call this guy a fake period.
