@DiscGuru101 I would imagine backwards compatibility being a possibly positive and enticing aspect of having an always-online thingie, maybe they'll offer the entire original Xbox lineup of games for free to download or something like that. I hope not, cause that could actually tempt to buy into this system :)
@CommonSense702 @sephsplace Could put it in a savings account for your children, or give it to some worthy charity cause, plenty of options to do good things with your money then giving it to M$
"...server woes that made the game unplayable for some."...from what I understand, it was a little bit more than "some" people who could not play the game. Sounds like they (Gamespot and EA) are trying to downplay and re-write recent history like those "server woes" never really happened and the game is now "the best-selling and most well-received game in the franchise's history." I wonder when the re-review is coming up.
How about actually playing the game and eventually becoming better and more skilled and accurate with using the game's weapons? Guess that was old days.
ok, so now they've got all that lovely money from the pre-sales and there's not much more revenue to be expected coming in from this game, save a dlc "feature"-pack here and there. But we can still count on EA to maintain full support and 24-hour maintenance of this evidently very complex and expensive server park even when the player population starts to drop. You won't start shutting down servers and neglecting the player base as long as there are people playing and enjoying the game. Right, EA?
