So is that what the "Eye" actually looks like? Have to say that's some seriously ugly design work. Good thing it's optional and not coming with the system.

A classic Microsoft flagship title(s), to be sure. Strange then it's not coming to Xbox Live or Windows Phone in some form or other. Guess the free-to-play mobile market on Android and iOS is more profitable, and where the profit is, M$ is sure to follow.

so without a region-lock, won't this mean that people in Asia (or other parts of the world as well, I suppose) will be able to simply import a console from Amazon or whatever, should they so desire? Might create a big shortage of available consoles perhaps.Not that XBox is that hot or desired in Asia so it's probably not much of a problem/issue whatever *shrugs*

the people who bought it, will they still be able to log in and re-downlad what they have purchased (in case it's not installed on their current device atm), hope so or there will be quite an outrage, I imagine...

won't this majorly p*ss off EA or whatever publishers that were really gunning to have this included, would love to be a fly on the wall in their board rooms :)

one good argument for being able to keep your console off-line unless you're actually playing a multi-player game or doing anything 'net-related.

Added to all this, they will also let Indie developers self-publish their titles, should they (the indie devs) so desire.
