i looked online and one solution is delete the MGS4 install then reinstall! ill try tomorrow! winner-ps3

I did that and now it wont get through the 10min install at the start up. Freezes at 8%, maybe you'll have more luck.

Ya its perfect since i got a new copy of it today and still messing up, i did notice that the first disc was getting scratched and i didnt think blueray discs could get scratched.

Theres a number at the back of manual for konami, so im just gonna call them and ask then what that symbol means, since sony probably doesnt have a clue since its not their product directly.

this actually happened to me

im just going to call sony and hope it doesnt cost too much for repair.

Ya basicly, ive had the game since day 1 and beat the game a few days back. Anyways im watching the final cutscene and a little symbol pops up in the upper left corner, this symbol is a question mark overlapped over a disc icon. I figured that the disc is busted, but try it again and no luck. Returned it today to get another copy and tried starting a new game and same thing.

So i figured maybe its the game data and deleted it from the xmb, and tried re-installing it. Once again same problem about 8% through the install, it freezes again. Now I can't play MGO, or MGS4. Has anyone run into this problem? If so what did you do to fix it? Atleast before i could MGO, but now might have to get my ps3 fixed.

hey guys i'm having trouble doing 2 things, registering my bluetooth headset to PS3 and registering for MGO. First, when i go to register my bluetooth headset it finds the headset but then asks for a pass key, i cannot find this pass key anywhere and i don't know what it is. So what is the pass key and where can i find my pass key? Its a plantronics 220. Next. I've tried a million combinations on password to use for my game id and it will not let me use any of these combinations. Can someone give me a password that would work for both konami id and game id? I find it so complicated to create a password from what isnt described too good. Thanks a lot.RealGamester11

Usually the password is 0000, atleast that was my passwords for 2 bluetooth headsets. I might be wrong but im 75% sure its 0000.

Secondly i havent finished the story for mgs4 so i can't help you out with Mgo yet, sorry. Hope that helps.
