Mine took 2 days no joke. I received the box set on the 15th of july, 2008, sent it back to sony on the 15th. Got it back on the 17th, the day my warranty expired. Ain't that something. Only problem is it still doesnt work. So i have to go through the process again.

Exactly what i was about to say, he isn't mad. He simply asking a question, whether it will or won't be on the PSN store in Canada.I don't know the answer, however im from Toronto and I want that service.

Ign article regarding the rumour and possible comfirmation.

1. The best new IPs. 10 years from now people are still going to remember Mass Effect and Gears. will people remember Uncharted and Little Kings story? I don't think so.

2. Online that will actually let me play with my friends. PS3 doesn't have it, as none of my friends have ps3s. Yeah PSN is free, but I would be wandering around aimlessly playing strangers in call of duty.

3. Gimmick Free. The classic console, controllers and box, dvd drive and all. There is nothing wrong with innovation, but leave that to developers, and let them innovate gameplay.

4. The best graphics, soon at the cheapest price. The 50 dollar price drop should bring the core below the price of the wii, and while I would go for a pro personally, you can still put GTAIV, Halo or gears into a core and play it just fine.

5. Variety. Its funny how things change. Last gen xbox was criticized for having the least variety, this gen it has unarguably the most. Wii is party games, PS3 is third person adventures. Sure PS3 has some promising shooters and RPGS on the horizon, but haze was a promising shooter at one point.

So love it hate it, those are the facts.

2. I'm sure every one is in the same situation where they only know people who own 360's and play them exclusively online. Just because you only own a 360 doesn't mean you couldn't play with people on psn. Once again, an opinion.

4. Uncharted is pretty good too, although gears is also very nice looking and im looking forward to playing gears 2 at my friends house. The Wii and PS3 will also have a price drop to match the competition's pricing strategy. Once again, opinion.

5. Yes, there is variety on the 360, however you have to take into consideration the amount of time that it has had to accomplish this variety. Give the competition time to match it.

This happened to me, 60gb PS3, bought it last year around this time. Anyways did a little symbol pop in the top left hand corner of a disc with a question mark in the middle?

If so there's a number in the back of the manual that is Konami's help line. They will probably tell you to restore your PS3's default system, and erase everything on your harddrive. I tried this and it still didn't work, so i returned the disc and tried a new copy of the game. Still nothing. Then my other games stopped working. Every media on a bluray disc doesn't work anymore on my PS3. So i called Sony, and there going to fix it.

The message im trying to tell you is: there's something that is either faulty or a problem that could break your PS3. I'm not trying to scare you or anything, I'm just trying to inform people before there warranties expire. If you want more information about some people who have experienced this message me and ill tell you some people who also experienced this and maybe they have a solution.

Sony promised us in game messaging and in-game XMB, and they delivered. Just because they didn't live up to your expectations doesn't mean they didn't deliver.

They didn't mess up with XMB, the reason i say this is because i see this as a starter pack, which they will build on in the future to improve it. In time, Sony will add features, just as they have added features since the release of the PS3's release.

They never promised half the stuff people are complaining about. The update has been out, what a week max. There are numerous usefull features: In-game messaging, checking on your downloads, registering bluetooth devices, and the internet search tool is kinda neat.

Yes, there is a lack of stuff you can't do, however hopefully that will be updated in time.

He's not trolling ive been in the same situation as TC for the last 2weeks or so....MGS4 did something to my ps3 and now it doesnt work. Fortunately for me, mine is still in warranty for another 2-3 weeks so i dont have to spend 150 to get it repaired.

Any1 got a fix to this problem yet? Sony just wants me to send it in, but i can play all my games besides mgs4 so not gonna happen, like my 60gb.

Edit: Nevermind that, any time i try to save, the screen goes black and im just sittign there scrathcing my head.(saving my other games that is).
