I didn't buy DR. I knew it was going to be garbage and waited for ARMA 2.

I tried it in the last year. I believe the first beta came out about 8 months ormore ago. it was very buggy and I was not impressed. Hopefully they have made some great improvements since then.

I applied also. I am also a software beta tester for my job so hopefully they will like that :)

This error can be caused by not having the CD in the machine when trying to install the patch.

I am actually on the 257.21 drivers. I think this is the last driver that did not include the nVidia uninstall option. they seem to be working ok for me and I also have the 8800 Gt's SLI.

I do not even like their new drivers. I have had problems with at least the last 3 versions so I Have rolled back a few versions. Games still run fine so I don't worry about it.

Ya, what Fellipe said, and it is a PITA. It is hit and miss, sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. I don't know why W7 does this but I wish they would sort it out.
