I disagree with nearly everything you said.Blink-182 actually did get better. That's an accurate statement. The only bands that get "better" are the bands that start together when they are really young and play together for a long time. Also, being "better" doesn't mean they make "better music" (I'm looking at you Dave Matthews Band). Guns N Roses got WAY better, but some of their music struggled as a result. They didn't come off as bad asses anymore either...they came off as musical components to a larger "thing."
I would say even a band like Jimmy Eat World has gotten better. Musically they are actually pretty damn good. Yeah, they are really poppy, but they make some pretty good songs that aren't on the radio too. Kings of Leon has gotten a LOT better over the years. They were kind of annoying to start. Now they can make some pretty good music. Rx Bandits became monstrously better over time. I don't know if they still make music, but damn they were good after that Progress album.
Most of my favorite bands go down hill though (i.e. Weezer, Coheed, etc...)

Blink 182 is not an accurate statement. I love everyone of their albums, they went from Punk-Punk Rock. I love their old stuff because its like immature punk and it brings me back to junior high.
Saying Guns N's Roses got WAY better is ridiculous (I know I know opinions) but any fan of the band would have to agree that the album they put out a few years back is more like Axel Rose goes solo, and Appetite for Destruction (their first album) is one of the greatest albums of all time. (Come on -Welcome to the Jungle, Sweet Child of Mine, Paradise City, Night Train, theres no one on earth who hasn't heard these songs)
I dunno what you're definition of better is.
Dave Matthews Band's first album is my favourite just because it is such a positive happy, good feeling album.
Kings of Leon has gotten annoying over the last 3 years mainly because of the radio and mainstream, and their new album seemed to be a rushed piece that a group of previous grammy winners had to poop out to keep the crowd entertained. I know its just opinions, - but
tl;dr - Blink 182 getting better - don't call that accurate - you aren't a true GnR fan - and what do you mean "better"?
Have you ever had the most wacky dreams that also come across as the creepiest? I remember around 8 years ago, when I was 12, I was sick at home with pnemonia, and I had a dream where I kept growing taller, and taller, and I couldn't stop myself, it felt like I lost complete control. Long story short I woke up in my moms room holding my head screaming....
Also when you are sick with a fever do you ever have really strange dreams that make you wake up sweaty, with a fear of closing your eyes to see the same images again. I sometime see images of odd textures, that would really make my skin crawl, but thinking about the it right now doesn't seem so creepy at all.
Sometimes when I'm sick I also tend to just lay in bed thinking, but sometimes my thoughts will enter a loophole where I can't continue on what I was thinking about, and the same thing continueously repeats itself, moving faster and faster, until I open my eyes.
Its weird what goes on in our minds with a little bit of medication, and fever...
Any thoughts or experiences OT?
How would you compare their new album to past albums? I've been meaning to check it out. I'm a fan of Rise Against, but usually only 4-5 songs off of each album. They tend to have a lot of filler in between good songs....[QUOTE="Mr_Pieman"][QUOTE="Dr_Snood"]Geez tough one.. Probably "Architects" by Rise Against. I really enjoy every song off of Rise Against's new album.redstorm72
I'm a pretty big Rise Against fan as well, and I loved "Endgame" (their new album). As it compares to previous albums, it's more in line with "Appeal to Reason" sound wise. There a few songs that you could pass on but overall the album is consitantly good (no real "stinkers" to speak of). Check out "Architects", "Disparity by Design", "Satellite", "Survivor Guilt" and "This is Letting Go" for a good idea of what the album has to offer.
Will do, thanks for the feedback!Malaysia, unfortunately.LonelynightFor real? Thats awesome, I love the rainforests over there, one day I'm gonna go exploring :D

May 21st and Oct 21st are pretty much random dates Camping pulled out of his ass. Dec 21st is the winter solstice in the Northern Hemisphere. Apparently, due to the Mayans never finishing their calender, and ending on Dec 21st, it is for some reason believed we are all supposed to burn up, or a random planet is gonna collide into us, or Martians are gonna fire a death ray on us. People fail to realize that it is a Calender, - a cycle. The world doesn't end on December 31st of every year, does it?What's with 21? May 21, Oct 21, Dec 21.
Is there something special about it?
