All the best fighting games are on console (or in arcades, if you're an old-timer) - there has really never been a good PC fighting game.

But that's totally going to change, thanks to Kaiju Combat

Here's the deal - the team that made Deadliest Warrior, Rampage, Prince of Persia, & the Godzilla games is running a kickstarter to fund a new kaiju fighting game on PC. If you played any of those Godzilla games, you know how awesomely fun they were - now you can basically pre-order for $20!

But there's more - everyone who donates gets to be on the design forums, deciding which features to include and which to cut. (If you donate $500, you even get to design your own monster who becomes a fully playable character for everyone!) And they'll release new monsters / stories / environments as stand-alone games two or three times a year - so you can build your Kaiju collection up, or not - at your discretion.

I think DLC characters are a totally hot idea, and I was crushed when Capcom screwed it up so badly in MvC3 (I love the game - I just hate the way DLC characters were handled.) To see it done right, on the cheap... totally hot.
