Most times a game doesn't become available for Games On Demand until close to a year after a game has been released and then it also costs the same price as a new copy while the disc version has dropped in price.

To me I'd rather download the game instead of buying the disc but that mostly is not a option until way after the game has been out and the price is not reflective to what's in store.

Why hasn't M$ pushed to get more games to appear in GoD on launch or within the release window?

No one goes after Madden or COD or 90% of Nintendos franchises. How many times can you rescue Peach before you realize I've been doing this for 20 years?

Someone above said it best. If the game is good and stands on it's own who cares if it's game 2 or 20? We know nothing on Halo4 at the moment and just cause the original team is not there doesn't mean it'll be bad. May mean we don't have the same feel of the other Halo games but as long as it's something fun and interesting I'll play Halo4 - 57.

Long story short Halo makes money. Why would you want to stop making money with your top franchise? Even if Halo is not the top dog of gaming it once was doesn't mean it's still not fun. COD right now is the top dog and those games don't interest me enough to buy them.

I totally agree, but sometimes we just need to move on.

Best argument to that is you can always move on. Doesn't mean the majority of the gaming community has to come with you. It only effects you if you want it to just like COD has no effect on me cause I don't like those games. (Although friends list does seem pretty dry when everyone else is playing it.)

If Halo 4 ends up being horrible IMO then I'll move on but doesn't mean I'm expecting everyone else to follow. Just like the CODMW3 vs BattleField3 arguments. Why are you going to let a game you don't like effect how you play another?

Got Madden 06 1000/1000 within a month I think when I got my 360.

Achievements are fun gamerscore is not. I don't care that you bought 73 games with a huge score I just care about if you got certain achievement in a game.

Plus 1000ing a game is pointless now as DLC comes out and makes it like you never did it.You need to buy a map pack or extra chapter or it don't count.Once you get all the non DLC achievements it should stand as complete.

^ Exactly. Mass Effect 2 will be $30 minimum, and not come with the code for the Cerberus network meaning if you want that it's another $15.

Or you can buy Mass Effect 2 new just about anywhere for $20 and get the Cerberus network included. Or get the PS3 version and get nearly every piece of DLC as well.

GoD is a great idea but the games there should be = or less than the physical copies of the game and come with any extras the disc version gets. I see a game I really want to buy on GoD but look at the price and think what a rip off! Reach a few months back was $30 in store but M$ thinks it's still worth $60? I'll stick to switching discs for games until the prices drop to retail versions.

If M$ is concerned about kids getting these or seeing their friends avatars with them then just make a patch that ranks avatar items into family friendly or not.

With your settings off you see any and every item someones avatar has guns included.

With it on it locks out the more violent items like guns.

This way M$ can keep the items up and get money off of them and it puts back responsiblityinto the parents hands on what their kid has access to while on Xbox live. Everyone wins.

Also some Xbox live ads show all the Gears and COD gameplay and even ads with people staring at Kate Uptons boobs but a little Avatar holding a gun is drawing the line?

You know the Lakers are a great franchise when a 4th or 5th seed is considered a major collapse.

Kobe has got a lot of stuff going on right now but unlike Lebron he delivers no matter what the situation. Until the season starts the Lakers are still a contender to me. Maybe not the front runners like the Heat, Bulls, or Mavericks but certainly in the conversation.

By the way this is coming from a Suns fan and I hate Kobe.

Or it might drop. Right now he's high on the charts like Sanchez was a few years ago so going back might hurt him if his numbers drop. Also with the new rookie contracts you'd want to get in early and get more money on the back end of your career.

I know it's not always about money but I would take the draft if I was him for my personal benefit.

You can transfer any old HDD to any other new or old HDD as long as the memory doesn't pass it's max. So if you got a 250GB HDD with only 2GB stored on it then you can transfer it to a 4GB HDD.

Also get a 250GB 360 if you can cause 4GB is worthless and means you can't store any games to it forcing you to use the loud disc drive. Plus anything you try to download will take up mostly all space on the 4GB.

Why would M$ bother selling a 4GB 360? 120 should be the standard.
