I've had problems with accents before, but what I have troubles with can go for every accent. When an accent which is foreign to me is really heavy, and the person is speaking fast and kind of slurring his or her words, I will have trouble understanding them.

I'm going as Brian Fantana with a few friends as other Channel 4 News Team characters from Anchorman.

I rent and buy used a lot. However, if there is a new game out that I want/need to get ASAP, I'll buy it. For example, I'm probably going to buy MW2 because if I wait, I'm going to be way behind as far as multiplayer goes. It's nice to be there at the beginning when everyone is learning the game.

I go for a mix. Some games (like CoD) I'll play on Veteran and really push myself to beat the game. Challenging, frustrating, but somehow rewarding. I need a break though when I get too frustrated, so I like to have some flat out fun games (ex. online multiplayer for Mercs 2) and just relax a bit.

Yeah. I've been finding that more companies (probably due to the economy) are releasing their games during the holiday season, rather than year round like before. This would make sense because people are more apt to buy games during the holidays than during the summer.

I agree with the statements posted here. People in the game fit their stereotypes, and the game really makes fun of everything. The radio has a TON of ads that joke about the media. Ex. America's Next Top (for forum purposes "working lady"). The game "knows" it's a video game, and sticks to that idea. Crazy action and a lot of satire.

I'm going to be getting the DLC the day it comes out. I really enjoyed GTAIV and TLAD a lot. The stories were intriguing to me, and the gameplay is just plain fun. Plus, when the episodes are as long as some full retail games, the price isn't too bad either.

I don't like with blackle is that you can only search the web from the default page. If I want to find an image, video, or map, I always have to go back to the white one anyways. I might just be totally blind and can't see it too.

Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal for the Ps2. I don't know how many times I beat it, but I beat it enough where I had everything purchased, and my money got capped. Fun times!

I really have nothing against the game. I don't like it, but I can see why it is popular.

I make fun of the people who PLAY the game, because they are just insane. One of my best friends had a brother who got a full ride scholarship to Northern Arizona University(the Harvard of the Grand Canyon State), but dropped out soley to play WoW. He is currently 27 without a job, living at home and plays WoW around 12 hours a day. This ain't an isolated case, either.

Why would you make someone for playing that game? You and others are lumping all game addictions into one category of people, WoW players. There are Xbox 360, and PS3 addicts. Hell, I'm sure there's even Wii addicts! Gaming addictions are formed, in the psychological sense, that it brings a lot of pleasure to the player, and therefore they just want to keep playing for more pleasure. Some get it through WoW, others get it through console games. I've played WoW (not anymore, got tired of it), and I know a lot of real life friends and virtual friends who play that are nowhere near the "addict" stage.

Making fun of them doesn't better the situation. People drop out of school, and ruin their social lives due to various addictions. Making fun of somebody for playing WoW is like making fun of somebody addicted to drugs. They're not necessarily addicted to a substance, but rather to the experience of pleasure the brain undergoes.
