No it hasn't red ringed yet and I am not sure if it will. My 360 is having some GPU problems and it really messes with the game play so I figure I will keep my old one around for backups or anything besides gaming and get a Elite. My warranty has been up for almost 8 months now, and I am not paying to get this hunk of crap repaired.

But Microsoft just extended its warrenty to three years, so you should be covered. I'll just assume that you can't get it fixed because this extended warrenty only coveres red-ringed consoles, yes?

You could always try selling your old one, though I'm not sure how morally good that would be.

Better yet, do it online.

Just sign in with your email, register your 360 (if you haven't done so already) and request a new repair.

They'll send you a box, you send your 360 in it, they repair it, and they send it back free!

Not sure how Bomberman Live is, though it is something I would like to get and looks great.

I can tell you from my own experience, however, that Marble Blast Ultra is very good. I've had it since I first got my 360 last year, and I'm still going back to beat high-scores, complete hard mode, and play online over Live. Definitely worth it, especially if you enjoy any of the old marble games (Marble Madness, etc.).

I have owned and enjoyed my Xbox 360 since I first got it in September 2006. I currently have 5 games for the system (along with several Live Arcade games) and I've escaped these last 7 months with nothing more than a couple of very minor freeze-ups.

Yet still, I can't seem to shake the notion that my Xbox 360 is something of a time-bomb; a failure waiting to happen. With the numerous reports of hardware failures, it's been a bit difficult to come by a 360 owner who isn't on their 2nd, 3rd, or even 4th system. My system has worked almost flawlessly since I first got it, but all of these reports of hardware failures have me at unease. I feel like my 360 will inevitably show me the "3 red lights of death", it's just a matter of when. Because of this fear in my system's failure, I have become reluctant to spend any time/money on the system. I don't want to waste either time or money on a system that will end up failing me.

So, should I be so concerned about the health of my 360? Am I worrying too much? Sure, I may be able to send the unit back for repair (assuming it is still under warrently if it fails) but after hearing all of the horror stories, I would just like to own one console and have it work for me.

Between this, the newly announced Elite, the PS3 included Wi-Fi, and the string of awsome-looking PS3 exclusives coming later this year (Lair, Rachet & Clank, Warhawk, etc.) I'm starting to wonder if I should just sell my 360+games while it's still working, wait a year, then buy a PS3 when it's cheaper.

Am I worrying too much? Is anyone else in the same boat as me?
