Seeing as GS is unlikely to review iRacing or GTR Evolution or rFactor2 ... then I will say yes!

Dirt 3 on difficult is the only thing even close to a proper racing sim this year that GS will review ... so yes Forza 4 will outscore the other racing "games" in 2011.

p.s. Motorstorm and Twisted Metal will both flop ... AA games at best!

If all you buy an iPhone 4 for is gaming then you are mad.

The value is in all the other things it does ... i.e. like making phone calls, sms, emails, web browsing etc ... you need a phone anyway so why not get one that is gaming capable? Instead of dropping $400+ on a smartphone and then another $300 on a handheld gaming device, why not pay less and get the best of both worlds?

Kind of like the PC ... if all you get it for is gaming then you are crazy ... but you need a PC anyway and the value is in all the other things it does , so instead of dropping $400.00 on a console and a PC ... why not get the PC with a $200-$300 graphics card and get a superior experience (and cheaper games to boot)

Hopefully EA will now start to release Madden and Tiger Woods on PC, now that they have their little slice of the DD pie up and running properly.

I will buy exclusives for the Console system they are on, but if multiplats dont appear on PC I am more than happy to not give the publishers and developers my money (Rockstar take note)

32X only sold 665,000 units ... the Kinect is in excess of 10 million, so one can safely say that it is more than likely to be around a lot longer than the 32X

In answer to the other part of your question ... yes I do think MS are forcing something down the throat of gamers who dont necessarily want it.

I think it will ... it will become one of those seminal type PC games that people use to compare against other games and systems of the time.

Games like Doom, Quake, Deus Ex, Half Life, System Shock2, Planescape Torment, Thief 1&2 ... i.e. games that brought new things to their respective genres and were the standard by others were measured by, even for a few years after they came out. Apart from the graphics it's gameplay is fantastic and genre defining.

Crysis, 4 years after release, is still talked about just as much today as it was when it came out. Just like the other games on the aformentioned list.

PC ... Digital all day long

Console I would prefer digital as well ... BUT based on past actions of killing backward compatibility etc, I have a big trust issue with the console manufacturers keeping my purchased games available for download once a new console comes out. So hard copies for consoles at this stage.
