Of course MGS4 is the Stealth King, What's the competition? Splinter Cell Conviction? Ha.

Thief 1 & 2 are the ultimate stealth kings ... Thief 3 not so much

Meh, I have a PS3 but I will be getting this for the PC.

Consoles are only for exclusives ... everybody knows that!

I think there was, actually, the early 2000, 2001 to be exact, there were already great looking games for PS2 like MGS2 (which I still think its one of the best looking previous gen games) while the best thing you could get in pc in that time was clive barker's undying

lightleggy

What are you talking about? There were heaps of games on the PC in 2000-2001 that looked better than Undying (also MGS 2 came out in the end of November 2001)

No One Lives Forever - 2000

Return to Castle Wolfenstein - 2000

StarTrek Elite Force - 2000

AvP 2 - 2001

plus many more like Giants Citizen Kabuto, Sacrifice, American Mcgees Alice etc

All Games that came out earlier than Undying and looked better (Undying was a fun game dripping with atmosphere though)

Sony Computer Entertainment America's senior VP of publisher relations, Rob Dyer, has now addressed the report, going so far as to tell IndustryGamers "publishers are getting the living crap licked out of them by Microsoft."

I once saw a German movie that did something similar ... shudders

Consoles are only for exclusives ... everything else is better on PC ... so why pay more to get a version that would never get used?

I agree it is a weakness and I would dearly love to see Demons Souls make it's way to PC.

However I do not think it was the disadvantage that it used to be ... lets face it except for a couple of exceptions, Japanese games have hardly been setting the world on fire.

Hell, the Xbox 360 has proven that you do not even need the Japanese market to be successful in the game industry anymore (something that until this generation was unthinkable for consoles) so I dont think the PC is losing too much by not having as many Japanese style games.

Distinct lack of Square Enix in this thread!

Rejecting artwork from one of their own Final Fantasy games as not fitting in with Final Fantasy universe, so they didnt have to pay a third party developer ... for shame
