Well, last few days have been pretty good for me. Many good things happened...like finding my PS2 likes me again, finding some old games...and the Guitar Hero 3 demo. The bad... GameSpot give TAD a 7.5:(

Well, GH3 impressions first. Great game, enjoyed it a lot. The new fretboard/interface graphics look great, the note streak counter is a great idea (300 note streak FTW) and the songs seem to be good. 5 starred all of them on hard, 5 starred all but 1 on expert, the one being "The Metal" by Tenacious D. Now, the song overviews.

Hit Me With Your Best Shot: Tier 1 if we believe the leak, very easy, kinda hard solo if you're not good at trills.

Lay Down: Pretty Simple, solo is chords, that might throw you off. Riff might challenge you.

Even Flow: Very fun, challenging verse, solo is fun to play.

Rock You Like A Hurricane: Pretty tough, nice rocking verse, good solos.

The Metal: Tough. The main riff is tough, the Chorus 8 is tough, everythign is tough except the infernal breakdown.

My PS2 likes me again, it now plays some old games on it.

Well, I like my old PCgames, playingtoo much X-Wing vs Tie Fighter, custom missions FTW!

Oh yeah, I can make missions forit:)

Yes, it has been nearly 2 weeks since my last blog! Time has flown, but we are nearly at November! Since I haven't been on a lot, let me update you with what I'm doing:)

Games: TaD demo of course, and 2 other games. The first one is X-Wing Alliance, a Star Wars flight sim which is sucking the life out of me:D With many mods for it and a good site with a whole new campaign, I'm playing 2 hours a day on it!! Yet I can't beat it on easy! Boo! Nearly and Expert 3rd Grade. Secondly, Ridge Racer for PSP. I don't know why, but I really like it. Just beat the final EX tour, and now I am on the MAX aka the impossible tours. I came last when I normally come first. There is 1 in 200 chance of you beating the first tour, and a 1 in 20,000 chance of beating the final one:shock:

Music: I've got into Rock a lot, mainly metal. Recent songs I have bought

Finally, Age of Empires 3, the Asian Dynasties demo came out, and I love it. Got good solid (lassic gameplay, good missions, and enough changes for the new civs.

The campaign level was decent, long, a nice amount of bonus objectives, a great story, and a great siege.

The skirmish was decent enough, good amount of changes, allows you to go up to level 10, and thats it.

The online looks good, with 3 new game modes, level 10 starter home cities, and more.

Overall, great.

In other news, I am enjoying playing more X-Wing vs Tie Fighter, I am at Veteran 2nd Grade:D I am also playing Total War Kingdoms, and the great RTS game demo of WiC:)

Yay! Got it! Hopefully it will not have a scratched disk, if it does, I will be 1 annoyed customer:evil:

What I'm planning, is a Halo gameplay marathon. If you don't know I haven't completed Halo 1 or 2, so I shall complete those, than complete Halo 3:)

EDIT: Sorry I have not been on lately, I have had trouble getting online, and I was stoked at Halo 3:P I will try and be more active from now on:)

First up, I had the Halo 3 ending spoiled. Whatever you do, do not click forums!!! That is where it came up. Not revealing it, through GS orders! :cry: why did this have to happen!!

Secondly, My Tie Fighter game doesn't work:( It crashes. Still playing AoE though.

Feels good to be advancing constantly:) Level 20 is hard, but it's great when you defeat it.

In other news, SNES hasn't arrived yet, but it still works:) Plus, I'm using my DS much more and finished a game I left, Mario Kart DS. I swear I'll reinstall AoE 2 though:)

That's right, I got a full working SNES for £30.00 of ebay. It hasn't arrived yet, but it comes withSuper Mario All-Stars. I might get Mario World, Mario Kart, and Super Metroid as well.

You can't beat the easy difficulty in games. I have had this done to me throughX Wingvs Tie Fighter,with complete and utter ownage. This is embarassing. The game owns me..literally:P It is frustrating when this happened. Any experiences with you?

I really should be able to beat the mission. It's mission 14 on the Rebel campaign. I flew through the first 13 missions easily, and now I am stumped. You should play it. 14...unlucky for some? And so close to finishing, 15 levels in it. I was looking forward to final one:( and now I can't get it. The game is fixed, you have do 3 things at once:P. That ends my rant.

Oh, play the new Strategic Objectives AoE3 scenarios, they rock!

is Crysis. Period. Demo out 25th, gonna see if my computer can run it:P Looks amazing, huge maps, ultimate test of your PC power. End.

Next thing, set up my GPGNet (SupCom) account. Guess the name:P Ready for a match, you can ask me if I want one:P Oh, I will beat you on Guitar Hero 3 online, BladeMaster:P Still playing TW Kingdoms.

I guess you know why I don't post so much anymore, but I do have some other stuff I'm doing.

The reason I called this blog that is because I saw myself in the middle of the welcome back our returning users thing.

I changed my mind. World in Conflict, not Halo 3. I'll be setting up online when I get the full game. Not a lot in my life, still going through that GameMaker book, not a lot of gaming, FTL:( Also, Total War Kingdoms is already out of stock at game:shock: It is popular.

Gaming: Not a lot of time really. Still,a few good battles on TW Kingdoms. And a bit of that game we call AoE.
