GameMaker FTW.

Finally, my GameMaker arrived in the mail. After making 2 of the tutorial games, I decided to buy it. It's just a pretty good program, I just need to learn the coding part for making advanced stuff, and I'm there. It's areally simple program, and you can make the test the test games in less than a day:)

I'm a beginner at it, but I hope to get better at making it, then I can design that "Musketeer, Hussar, and Crossbowman" game that the Age of Empires Union thought of. My goal is to develop a very simple RTS game. Estimated date of completion: 2012:lol:

Mainly playing TW Kingdoms, and my GameMaker games:P

Total War Kingdoms gets an 8 from GS.

Well, the review finally came, 8.0, great value given to it. Be sure to check it out. I expected an AA, and it got AA. Hooray! Still playing Britannia though:) And I really reccommend picking it up so you can have loads of hours on it.

For other news, I might be ordering AoE Collectors Edition (The box with 1, 2 and the expansions) becuase my discs are so badly scratched they don't want to play. Still, having fun, and still playing that great game AoE3: The WarChiefs.

Now, Halo 3. I pre-ordered the Collectors Edition (Legendary sold out) and I can't wait for the game to come out. Only problem is, I haven't finished Halo 1 and I started Halo 2:P Should still have fun though.

Total War and AoE FTW!

How I'm doing.

Well, schools going fine, got settled back in very early. Haven't had much time for gaming, but I do try to nab in sessions of gaming and GameSpot, so that is ok. Just remember, to all union leaders, I won't be hyper-active, but will post as much as I can.

What I'm playing: Total War Kingdoms and AoE3: The WarChiefs.

My decision...

Is to get Halo 3 first, then World in Conflict later. I just thinkthat with all the hype it's getting, I have to buy it.

I'm back at school as well, so I won't be very active.

In gaming news, still playing TW Kingdoms, and I am waiting for Halo 3. But...good news! I might be getting an old games console at the end of the week, I just need to choose which one.

Level 21, plus help me choose a game.

Finally, after a month and a half of being a Metal Slime, I am out of Level 20.That was hard. And now, it's only been 2 days since I leveled up, and yet I'm at 11%. Back to levels going through quickly:)

In gaming news, I watched L7UWP and _Sam_'s recorded gaming on AoE3: The WarChiefs. Go to L7UWP's profile to find it. Be warned it's around 2:40:00:o. But it still was a great match. And now I need your help. I need you to choose which game I should get. Should I get the great RTS World in Conflict Collectors Edition, or should I get the most hyped game ever, Halo 3 Collectors Edition. You can choose:)

Edit: I just saw myself on the "Welcome back our returning users thing*

The flood hit us....

That would be the flood of games. Tons of new games coming out, and it looks like that it's gonna be hard for me to pick the ones I want. Still, World in Conflict looks great, and it looks like that AoE3 still lives strong with The Asian Dynasties. But, the only thing is, that TW Kingdoms will last me throughout the whole year:)

Anyway, Halo Wars looks like it will be a great Ensemble Game, nice to see its going well. AoE3: The Asian Dynasties looks like another great AoE game. The only problem is, can you wait that long? Do the preview vids make you wait sleepness nights for it? This is why I like new releases, something new, and fresh. But I still like old games, and it's nice to see people aren't forgetting them.

Now, in between this flood, maybe you should try to get an older game. *Me eyes the £19.99 Dawn of War Anthology:P* Still, their graphics may not be up to par, but they still provide a deep gameplay experience. It just seems like that 2008 will be a dry year, and I don't want that. But it still looks like a great line up of new, and old games.

Oh, and pop on the Xbox Live Arcade, because today and tommorrow, Zuma, Small Arms, Gauntlet, and Dig Dug are half price! I'm definately getting Small Arms, and finishing off 1 of my demos. Zuma doesn't look interesting to me, I already own Gauntlet, and Dig Dug looks pretty good. So I'll be getting Dig Dug and Small Srms:)

That rounds off this blog.

More TW Kingdoms and something else.

First up, I am still playing Britannia. Still. I've mainly been dipping into the scenarios recently, 3 of them, and I got owned on the 2 vs 2 Highland Assualt just becuase my AI allies fled the field:P I did hold off very long though, my formation holding up well against the many pikes of the Scots and the Infantry of the Irish. Still, I'm having fun in the campaign as Wales, about to take Cardiff back. Still, very good campaign.

Secondly, 1 more day and I should be out of Level 20. I entered on July 18th, and I have finally beaten the 2% a day slog. That was kind of not fun:lol:

TW Kingdoms!

Got it 6.23 PM yesterday, and played loads of Britannia. The game is just epic. Here's my recount.

1: Installation. Very slow. First it has to patch to 1.03, then you can choose which campaigns you want to use, as the4 campaigns are 4 different parts, so it can be confusing.

2: Britannia. I chose to play as the Welch. First up, instead of religion, there is culture, which acts exactly the same as religion, just no pope/crusades. The Welch have a great all round line up, but lack heavy infantry. The campaign is great and has many regions to conquer. There are also tons of maps to play on, and thats only 1 campaign! The game's diplomacy hasn't changed from what I've seen. There are no historical battles, just conflicts.

Look for my review soon.

Total War...part 8.

Today or very early tommorrow! That is when it will come! It is so close to coming out! For today, play Total War Kingdoms if you are in the US, or, why not have a Total War gameplay marathon to warm up for this expansion? Have a go.

PS: If you have the game, give me loads of feedback.

Total War part 7!!! And some old-skool flying games.

1 day!!! Thats it! 1 day to live and to play this game. It will be incredible. It is out in the States just now so if you have give me loads of feedback on it:) Now we just wait for the Gamespot Score:P

Yesterday, I found some of my favorite games ever. Old-skool flying games involving a joystick:) Here is what I found.

My first space Star Wars flying game. It was just great. The graphics were great for it's time, and it just felt great. The campaigns were good too:)

My 2nd Star Wars space flying game. This game had an amazing campaign story, yet many other things to do. Like the pilot proving ground and make your own skirmish. Check the cheats on gamefaqs and you will see a fun glitch. Always fun to be a star destroyer:P

My 3rd Star Wars flying game. This had 2 1/2 games in it. It has the first ever Star Wars space combat sim, X-Wing. Then the Imperial sequel, Tie Fighter, and then the Training missions of X-Wing vsTie Fighter. If you have a joystick, buy this game now.

My only Star Wars ground combat joystick game. It is a true (lassic, with great graphics for its time. Plus some fun cheats and good voices.

This is what I am playing to get the wait over and done with:P
