Well, all things considered, a GTS 250 is really powerful compared to the GPUs of the Xbox 360/PS3, but it's a long shot from even the mid-range GPUs of today's PC GPU market.

The 250gts was outdated when it came out, it was released as a budget card not even as a midrange card such as the much more powerful 260gtx, I would not even classify it as a gaming card. Gametrailers is a joke and will never give a PC game best graphics despite the overwhelming differences, thats why its awards mean nothing.

Starcraft 2, Company of Heroes, WIC is a really good game too but its online is dead

Total War games are king of SP though, civlization is enjoyable as well

Gametrailers is a joke probably the most console centric site out there, thoughout discussing BF3 all that douche Geoff Keighly kept saying its sad we haven't seen any console footage completly dismissing the game just because it was PC footage. They have been naming games graphics kings when they are really just console graphics kings, which doesnt matter at all. Take a look at their crysis review, what a joke they were playing it at at low settings no wonder crysis was never given best graphics by them.

it makes sense since they probably can only sell half million copies on pc for full price $50 while they can sell it $60 for millions on console.

10$ of that goes to MS or Sony, so the in the end both versions give the same return per unit for bethesda, then there are all the extra costs consoles copies would need, merketing etc. PC games are never marketed because people know about it already and they either want it or they dont.

I still fail to see why graphics are so important for an online shooter. On any system.

Graphics are important to any game, especially battlefield games. Battlefield MP was the only game that made me feel I was in a battle and not some deathmatch arena, good graphics, phyx and sound adds to that atmposheric field.
