[QUOTE="Inconsistancy"][QUOTE="savagetwinkie"]its about convenience, its the same game, if its more convenient to get a 360 disc, then i'll get that, buying a PC version means having to install it and deal with DRM, steam is the only DD service I'm willing to deal with, i don't want multiple accounts, its portable and works since If i decide wipe my hard drive its still intact on my second hard drive. And I don't like buying PC hard copies because its an inconvenience to install. convenience > graphics, 360 more convenient than PC in this case, 360 > PC savagetwinkie
Convenience wtf, are you seriously saying that, "God forbid I have to go to a different sight, that would be inconvenient"!? And 'and deal with DRM' what's the problem with the DRM? Does it somehow impede your experience, or slow down the installation/boot/stability? Generally, you don't see DRM unless you're pirating something, or if it's intrusive like Ubisoft's has been. And why are you installing windows so often that you could justify steam as being so vastly more convenient? Are beta testing viruses or something and have to wipe your drive weekly?
Installation, click 'setup.exe' and click next a few times, and then finished, that's inconvenient for you? What is it to you to have to turn on, off and change stations on the radio in a car?
Not to mention, this is a rare case of the PC version really being different from the console version in more than the graphics department, whole game modes and the maps they run on are omitted, as well as having no options for control input.
You can backup the games on a second harddrive wherever you got them from...
I at least get "I have friends on console" or "I don't have an adequate pc". But this makes no sense.
whats it matter to you? its the same game, with slight difference, i'm not big wanker that needs to feel entitled because i have a slightly sharper experience, about 30 seconds after the wow factor has ended from the graphics i get the same amount of enjoyment out of either version of bad company 2, so if playing the game might be subject to when i whipeout my hard drive and reinstall xp, then win7x64, (all the while i'll be playing bf3 on 360) , without steam, i'd have to reinstall, then get the updates, apply the map packs that have come out , on top of updating drivers, and if it weren't for steam, installing other games, i have 130+ games on steam, on a 2tb hard drive, that is convenience, so I've decided since steam works so well and nothing compares to it, why bother supporting anything else, i dont' want to make multiple accounts with other DD services all with credit card details, and so far the only other actual programs like steam amount to a total of games for windows live and origin... why should i bother supporting them? But its not the same experience since PC has 64 players and larger maps while consoles only have 24 and small maps; then there is the superior gfx which look anything than "slighty" better. While a disk on xbox is the same as a disk on PC.
