@paleblue: I didn't see a single QTE in the demo. I did get some flashy animations when I parried one of the unblockable moves though; is that what you're referring to?
My pizza had crust (read: I used parry) and it was delicious. Never once did I feel disadvantaged even surrounded by enemies. The design feels so based around it that I can't imagine trying to play this particular title without it.
@paleblue: The game seems designed around the parry. Blocks give no benefit and most enemies will just eat through it. Dodging seems a last resort since you have to hit the parry button to dodge.
It seems you tried to eat a crust-less pizza and then got upset that it was just a pile of cheese and toppings.
The demo got me to want to purchase the game. From what I've played it seems very simple. I didn't struggle at the first boss like I've heard and the places I've seen where lots of people died in game didn't seem to get me stuck.
I was playing too slow initially but I've always been one to love reflect mechanics in games so maybe this style of combat just clicks with me.
I don't see this as one of the greatest of this genre but it's certainly great, stylish fun.
@blindbsnake: Calling something a context clue when it isn't doesn't make me think it's false it just is false. Adding quotation marks for sarcasm doesn't make it less false.
But hey, if you want to be wrong in two languages that's on you.
