@Tekarukite: Dragonmark tattoos are magic ones that give bonuses to the character. I think there's more to them than that but I've never read about then myself and I forgot what else our DM told me about them.
Meh. If Vince lets these guys make the shows interesting for more than 2 months without firing them, then let me know and I'll start watching. Until then, I'll assume it's going to be like the last time Heyman was in charge of Smackdown. The shows were great, which of course got the job taken away from him after a short while.
@justinitiative: lol, I didn't know he got in a fight with King Diamond. Before I look it up, I'll take a guess at what happened...
King Diamond was originally employed as an assassin, and he had to begin painting his face and take singing lessons because of a mission requiring him to pose as a member of Kiss and kill them backstage. Shamed out of the murder business when he couldn't get through Gene's spiky costume to damage him, he continued singing as the identity he created for the mission, and left his original identity behind forever.
@mattsaroni24: Yep, and it's also a "Roguelike" that somehow has a finite amount of designed levels. I get the feeling they just threw every buzzword associated with popular 2D indie titles into the description no matter how loosely it fits.
@Mogan: I liked it overall, but it would have been much better if it wasn't full of enclosed battles that restrict your play style.
If you were one of those people who played the old ones like a psychopath who sprints from room to room, shooting everything in the face point blank, then Doom 2016 is the natural evolution of that.
If you were one of the people who played it more like a dungeon crawler, too bad, you're playing it the other way.
Nintendo: "Yeah, there's a super easy way to play your games on your secondary Switch! Just insert the second cartridge you bought for another $60 and the transfer is instant!"
Honestly though, there's no reason they couldn't come up with a few shared animation and ability templates and then assign a few skins to each to fill in the ones they don't want to make unique. Or is the switch hardware "too good" for them to make a few re-skin characters for the sake of completeness?
Reading the phrase "relaunch of the XFL" was the thing that shook my confidence in this whole situation the most. I used to enjoy all three of these guys' wrestling promotions, but Heyman and Bischoff will still be working for McMahon and the XFL makes me think that he hasn't learned anything since I quit watching 15 years ago.
