Woohoo, I thought the series was dead! Day 1 purchase for me if it's anywhere near as good as the PS2 version.

Amy Hennig and Dead Space team could make a good one if EA will let them.

If anything in a Bethesda game works correctly, it will already be an unprecedented level of performance.

@joshrmeyer: I think Raiden is from Japanese mythology. It's weird though because almost all the other Asians in the game are Chinese, and the look of Raiden was modeled after the lightning guy from Big Trouble in Little China.

I understand that every console does this now (which I like to interpret as "All the new consoles suck", but I can see how some people would like each of them), but this is a terrible thing to put on the back burner.

The Switch is already suffering from a lack of interesting launch titles, and considering how many gamers skipped the WiiU, many of the Nintendo games re-released in that time could have really helped pass the time until there are more new games for Switch.

The character models and locations look really cool. Maybe somebody can use them to make a graphics mod for the real Morrowind.

Its just the same business model that has been used for new hardware and technology for decades, extended to the software. You milk the impulsive early adopters for all you can when it's first released, then later go down to a reasonable price to bring in the value-concious customers.

If you are the latter, just wait for the complete game to be bundled together later. I'm pretty sure there are at least a few other games in the world to play while you wait.

Since it's the one thing I don't see complaints about yet... how the hell is this even Double Dragon 4 in the first place? There was already a fourth game in the Nintendo version of the series on SNES. The arcade only went up to 3, so it could be a sequel to that, but then why have NES graphics? They could have made it 6, or 3.5, or even 5 since I don't think anybody counts 5 as a Double Dragon game.

Anyway, I think Abobo's Big Adventure was all the Double Dragon nostalgia I need for a while.

I'm assuming this doesn't include digital sales, and I would expect those to be higher than usual for this particular sequel. More people who play stuff like the Amnesia series will probably be interested in this one over other RE games.
