It's definitely a glitchy mess in it's current state; but if they take the time to tweak this out a little more I can definitely see the appeal for it. It seems like the problems with it are the emulator trying to render what it perceives as a floor or map-based image on screen. I feel the only way they are going to be able to render this properly is to go through each one of these games one-by-one (for example the entire NES library) and configure the mapping of each level in the games in order for it to look the way it is supposed to. I would suggest this and then have a game-specific library based solely on this emulator.
@berserker66666: Yeah, but as said before, disguises were always an "option"-- this game seems to rely on disguises in order to get past certain sections of the game.
@mrbojangles25: Well if you played the beta then you'll know what they mean. Some areas require you to have a disguise in order to advance, but there are ways around this......but the way it is utilized seems forced whereas like in Blood Money there was always a way around using a disguise-- hell, Blood Money even gave you rewards for this......this game just makes you play the same level over and over to finish all the challenges. Blood Money should of been what they were leaning towards in terms of game play, but I think they missed the mark. I also loved the newspaper clipping at the end of finishing a mission in Blood Money; I wish that was something done in this game so that each mission gives you a sense of accomplishment rather than completing challenges.
@balrogbane: Yup, I agree. When the game was first being showcased it sort of looked like an improved Blood Money, but after playing the beta that is not the case....definitely not worth the episodic release.
@cboye18: I played the beta and I would have to say, neither. Although if you want to get technical, it's probably more closer to Absolution; which is a shame. There wasn't much in technological advancements to the series over it's predecessors. Blood Money was just amazing for what it was, as this one seems to have tried too hard to stray away from Absolution.
