@beantownsean: That is NOT always the case.......especially for PC players. Most games nowadays require some kind of Steam input for the engine to run which would require internet access. For example, the recent release of Rainbow Six: Siege and Star Wars Battlefront and simply online mulitiplayer games and require access to them to play.....hence you can't play them if you pirated the game.....so if they really wanted to, they would buy the game. Batman Arkham Knight was cracked for PC (although the shitty buggy version) and I ended up buying it for PS4 because I wanted the game......that is really the whole point of pirating these days.......simply because devs/producers make you pay an arm and a leg for a game before you can even try it. Does Aliens: Colonial Marines ring a bell????-- that is a major drawback to not being able to play before you buy.
Its exactly why people pirate......the overuse of scapegoating people into pre-ordering for worthless DLC and fuckin' microtransactions for every little thing. Developers are not to be trusted unless they at least garner some kind of deal on their end......this is why I trust very few devs out there anymore; only one I really trust right now (and have for a while now) is Naughty Dog because they simply know how to make games and put passion into them as well as at least give us a taste of their games in some sort of beta form. I have a somewhat of a trust for Rocksteady as well, but after their recent PC debacle with Arkham Knight.....its slowly swaying; also their bout of massive DLC lists is also a little depressing.
@bickle2: .....the scene of him flying was in CG, but when he does the patented "rip open shirt to reveal Superman logo", he was actually wearing the costume......if fact, he was wearing the same costume Brandon Routh wore in Superman Returns.
@Byshop: Well that's your opinion......you clearly didn't stick with it so your opinion is not exclusively valid, but whatever. Millions liked the show and it had a great fan base......The first 4 seasons were also very well done and had some pretty great acting from Welling, Rosenbaum and Glover.....albeit the later seasons starting going downhill; if you were a fan you stuck with it.
@7evenpoint: Yup...it really did.....seasons 1-4 really were the best. Those seasons really focused on having some kind of new "meteor freak" each week as well as telling the story of his origins......it then got really far out there when the black/Blur thing and introducing a lot of the Justice League origins in it.
@moloko: Yup, I think that is really the only downside to having it happen. Although I still think it would be pretty great if he came back in Flash and Arrow considering he's playing in a different universe not associated with Smallville....its not like the actor HAS to be picked for only one show......I mean if you remember, Justin Hartley who played Green Arrow in Smallville also did a pilot (which never got picked up though) for a new Aquaman show too......so not far fetched that Welling come back for this part in a different universe.
@jimdigby: .....and technically, they are also having 2 Bruce Wayne's with Batman vs. Superman and Gotham. Also 2 Amanda Waller's albeit she was just killed off in the most current episode of Arrow. The list could go on if you really dig into it. On a serious note though, if he made appearances at some point on Flash and Arrow that would be awesome....I suppose he would have to show up on Supergirl, although I don't really care for that show-- I don't like the theme of the show (sort of like a Gilmore Girls with capes) and I don't like the slutty chick playing Supergirl ;)
@PrpleTrtleBuBum: You ever heard of the "Spoiler Block"????? I mean I've already seen the movie, but seriously pretty douchey. Anyways....Han will be back. Pretty sure Snoke is Darth Plagueis who apparently had the ability to resurrect or "create" life when Palpatine told Anakin of him and the powers he had. I think Ren will at some point be gifted this power in Episode IX.
