and yes, Iraq was stable before the war....it may have not been the nicest place to live in....but at least you could go outside without the fear of a bomb exploding next to you.

All I know is the kind Americans didn't have to help the Europeans in WW2. The US had issues with Japan. Europeans don't even seem to care that many great Americans fought and died for them like my grandpappy. My grandpa was in the navy during WW2 which was when the Navy wasn't so metrosexual back then. I am proud of my grandpa for helping even the ungrateful Europeans.

It was the reserves of the reserves in reality. IMO the whole invasion of France was very poor military manuevering, considering the poor trained and poor supplied German troops that were in France. The Russians took out the spearhead of the German Army, they destroyed the 85% of the whole German army, add to it the % that never fought, and the rest is what the whole of the allies really took out.

Yet in American movies, they act like if they were the ones that defeated the Germans in Europe.

America did win WW2 cause until they showed up the Russians were throwing potatoes for grenades. I know cause I played Call of Duty 2.
